Lobuche East Peak Climbing is one of Nepal’s most rewarding and strategically positioned trekking peaks, offering a perfect blend of technical mountaineering and classic Everest region trekking. Climbing Lobuche Peak with trekking - couple

I recommend it. Everything was organized from start to finish. At the same time, there was great flexibility when it came to making changes, which are necessary in the mountains due to weather or to adapting to our abilities and strength. Everything was included in the plan, which speaks volumes about the organizer's experience. A big plus for the guide, who provided assistance and advice during the trip.

    Trip of a lifetime

I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Nepal, and I can honestly say that it wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing guide. From start to finish, Hamil went above and beyond to ensure every part of the journey was smooth, safe, and full of local insight. Hamil was incredibly knowledgeable about the region, culture, and history, and always had an answer to our many questions. But what really stood out was his warmth, patience, and sense of humour — it felt like we were travelling with a friend, not just a guide. If you're planning a trip to Nepal, do yourself a favour and book a tour with Accessible Adventures!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and complimentary review! 🙏✨ We are thrilled to learn that Hamil played a key role in making your trip to Nepal unforgettable. His vast expertise, kind disposition, and amazing sense of humor make him an invaluable member of the Accessible Adventure team. 🌄💬 That you felt secure, informed, and really connected during your trip meant the world to us. We want all of our guests to enjoy the excitement of traveling with friends rather than simply a guide. The greatest compliment we could receive is your suggestion, and we look forward to seeing you again on your next journey, whether it takes you to the valleys' hidden treasures or the towering Himalayan peaks. 💼🏞️

Lobuche East Peak Climbing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Lobuche East Peak Climbing cost?

    +

Prices start at $1,880 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lobuche East Peak Climbing take?

    +

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Lobuche East Peak Climbing worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lobuche East Peak Climbing?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lobuche East Peak Climbing suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lobuche East Peak Climbing?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lobuche East Peak Climbing start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Lobuche East Peak Climbing?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 2 listed pickup locations in and around Kathmandu. Be ready about 120 minutes before the start time.

Is Lobuche East Peak Climbing wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
