The Perfect Private E-Bike Tour in Lisbon
We had a three-hour bike tour scheduled, and when we arrived, we realized it was a private tour, just my companion and me, which was a very pleasant surprise. Our tour took us to the town of Belém, and our guide, Xavier, grew up there, so his knowledge of the area was incredible. We saw so many places, and if you’re going to explore Lisbon by bike, the e-bikes are absolutely the way to go. There happened to be a marathon taking place that day, but thanks to Xavier’s deep familiarity with the area, even the detours we had to take turned into interesting parts of the experience. The highlight of the tour was stopping for Pastéis de Belém, without having to wait in the long line. Xavier is so well known that he even left with an extra pastry for his mom. His personal stories and life history were just as engaging as the tour itself. Coming from Baltimore, it was fascinating to see how similar Belém felt to a port town like home, especially seeing the old power plant transformed into part of the MAAT Museum, it was strikingly familiar. The tour was the perfect length, and even the area where Lisboa Autêntica is located is charming, with benches and orange trees out front. This experience was informative, personal, and truly memorable. Highly recommended.

Our guide Jorge was...
Our guide Jorge was excellent and helpful. We would have preferred a little less lecture time and a little more riding time. The trip did not last the full 3 hours.

So fun!
We had such a great day on this bike tour with Xavier. He was a fabulous guide and so knowledgeable. We learned a lot while having so much fun riding the e-bikes. I was a bit nervous about getting out of the busy city center to the river paths but it was so easy! Lisbon is definitely more bike friendly than many cities. Once we were at the river it was a lovely ride on a bike trail with not too many people around to worry about. I haven't biked in a while but the e-bikes were fabulous, so easy. They allowed us to cover a lot of ground and see so much. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a different way to see the area. It was one of our favorite days.
Response from the operator: We're so glad you had fun with Xavier and enjoyed the ease of the e-bikes. Lisbon is indeed a great city for biking, and we're thrilled to hear it was one of your favorite days. Hope to welcome you back soon!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém cost?
+
Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 67 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon: The Riverside E-Bike Tour to Belém start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
