Five in one experience
We had a fabulous day on this tour and got to see so many things you wouldn’t be able to do normally - the National Park, historic fish market, tile factory and painting and wine tasting. We even stopped off at the Cristo Rei sculpture on the way back as an unexpected extra. It was a great experience and cannot recommend enough.
Response from the operator: We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour! From the wine tasting to the tile painting, it sounds like you made the most of every moment. Thank you for the kind words and the high recommendation—it was truly our pleasure to have you with us

Amazing day with great guide!
Ricardo saved our last day in Portugal! We had originally booked a similar tour (tile making class and visiting winery in Setúbal region) with a different tour company, but they canceled on us last minute saying that the tile factory had a flood and would be closed. I re-booked with Ricardo at 8am for 9:30am pickup and he took us the same tile factory that the other company had clearly lied about being closed. My kids as well as my wife and I loved this tour!! It is a fun day for both kids and adults. Ricardo is a super nice guy and everywhere we went on this particular tour everyone knew him and were genuinely glad to see him. I would definitely book another tour with him in the future.
Response from the operator: It was my absolute pleasure to save the day! I’m so glad we could make the tile making and winery visit happen for your family. I truly value the relationships I have with our local partners, and I’m glad you felt that connection. Thank you for choosing me for your final memories of Portugal—hope to see you all again

DO THIS TOUR
Absolutely my favorite day in Portugal!! The host was so thoughtful, kind, and easy to talk to. He went above and beyond multiple times! Not to mention that but the tour itself was amazing!!!! In one day we visited an absolutely gorgeous mountain over the sea, visited the worlds coolest sea market in an adorable town, toured vineyards and learned about cork trees, visited a tile making factory for a really interesting lesson, then did a wine tasting at a vineyard that was also an art museum!! After that we went for an authentic Portuguese lunch at a tiny spot nearby that was DELICIOUS, lastly I painted my own tile. It was SO FUN!! Cannot recommend higher, this tour is a joy from start to finish and a great escape from the chaos of Lisbon
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your glowing review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that this was your favorite day in Portugal. It was a true pleasure to host you and share the beauty of our region, from the heights of the Arrábida mountains to the traditional tile factory and the unique art-filled vineyard. We are especially glad you enjoyed the 'authentic' lunch at our favorite local spot—it’s hidden gems like those that make the day truly special! The tile you painted will be a wonderful souvenir of your time away from the Lisbon crowds. Your kind words about our team mean the world to us, and we will be sure to pass them along to your guide. We hope to welcome you back to Portugal again soon!

Don’t miss out on this experience!
I cannot even begin to put into words how fantastic Ricardo was for our first trip to Portugal. He was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable for our excursions and showed us many things we didn’t even know were available. Between the food, sights and activities this was by far the best way to see the beautiful country of Portugal. Funtasting has definitely curated a fantastic relationship with local restaurants and people to provide the best experience possible and is the perfect mix of “tourist” and “local”. We will be back and we will be seeking out Ricardo again!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure to be part of your first trip to Portugal. I’m delighted to know you enjoyed the food, sights, and experiences we shared together. My goal is always to make each visit unique and memorable, and it means a lot to hear that reflected in your review. I hope to welcome you back again soon to discover even more of what Portugal has to offer!

Fabulous Tour!!
I had no idea exactly what this experience would include. From the trip to the fish market to look at the tile work, a pastry and oyster sample, and a lesson on harvesting cork. Then to the tile shops, learning how they process the tiles, and painting our own tiles. Next a scenic drive through the mountain, with plenty of stops to catch the views and lunch at a small family run restaurant, where the chef prepared an authentic Portuguese feast with a wine tasting and just for good measure, another winery tasting stop. After all of that, there was one more surprise, a stop at the sanctuary of Christ the King overlooking Lisbon. I cannot give our tour guide, Ricardo Verissimo enough praise. He was absolutely the best! In fact we booked another tour with him for the following day.
Response from the operator: Dear Michele Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the experience—from the fish market and tile painting to the incredible views, delicious food, and wine tastings. It sounds like you truly embraced every part of the day! Ricardo will be so happy to hear your praise; he really is passionate about sharing the best of Portugal. I'm glad you decided to book another tour with us—there’s still so much more to discover!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up cost?
+
Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon: Tile Workshop and Wine Tasting Tour with Hotel Pick-Up start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
