Lisbon to Porto, best trip.
Our private transfer from Lisbon to Porto with João was absolutely fantastic ! Traveling with a teenager and a child can be challeng, but João was a true professional, making sure everyone was comfortable and engaged throughout the trip.First, we visited the charming town of Óbidos, where João made sure we tried the best Ginjinha (cherry liqueur) we've ever tasted. He then took us to Nazaré to see the famous waves, which the kids loved. Our final stop was the beautiful canals of Aveiro, which felt like a mini Venice. João's knowledge of the country is impressive, and he was full of interesting stories and historical facts that kept us all entertained. We can't recommend João enough for anyone looking for a stress-free, fun, and memorable transfer from Lisbon to Porto.
Response from the operator: Dear feliciar404, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that your private transfer from Lisbon to Porto was such a fantastic experience. João will be thrilled to know that his professionalism, engaging storytelling, and thoughtful care made the journey enjoyable for the whole family — including your teenager and child. From savoring the best Ginjinha in Óbidos to watching the waves in Nazaré and cruising the charming canals of Aveiro, it sounds like a day filled with unforgettable moments. Your kind words and recommendation mean the world to us, and we’d be honored to welcome you back for more adventures in Portugal! Warm regards, Meridian4People Team

Traveling from Lisbon to Porto
We took a customized one-way trip from Lisbon to Porto, where we embarked on a river cruise the next day. Our tour guide and driver was Ricardo Casais and he was over the top excellent. He was friendly, helpful, quite knowledgeable, and made suggestions that made our day long trip go smooth. We appreciated his driving expertise and how much he knew of the areas we stopped in - Tomar and Nazaré - on our way to Porto. Most important, he cared about our learning, that we enjoyed ourselves, and that we arrived safely. His care for us was incredible and we appreciated him so very much. If we get the opportunity to travel to Portugal again, we will call on Ricardo to be a part of our guided travel and trip driver. He is top on our list. There is no one better. Thank you.
Response from the operator: Dear randalll330, Thank you for your incredible review! We are truly delighted to hear that Ricardo Casais made your journey from Lisbon to Porto such a memorable experience. His dedication to providing a smooth, insightful, and enjoyable trip is something we deeply value. Exploring Tomar and Nazaré on the way sounds like a fantastic itinerary, and we’re thrilled that his knowledge and recommendations made your day even better. Most importantly, knowing that you felt cared for and safe means everything to us! We would love to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in Portugal. Thank you for your kind words and recommendation! Best regards, Meridian4People Team

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto cost?
+
Prices start at $472 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon, Jerónimos Monastery & Belém Tower Private Tour From Porto start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
