Book it! Great stops/sights along the way. Great day!

Fabulous! We had a great time with Leonel Rodrigues for our Lisbon to Porto trip on July 29th! So glad we opted not to take the train! We put in a full day; making stops along the way. Walked the walled streets in Obidos, strolled the gorgeous shore in Nazare, along with lunch at a local restaurant there, and also took in more historical sights in Aveiro. Leonel surprised us with a drive through Avanca, my grandfather’s birthplace. Leonel is so passionate about his country and sharing it with others. He’s a wealth of information and there was good, fun conversation all around. Highly recommend Leonel and this tour. You won’t be disappointed. 5 stars for sure. Enjoy!

Outstanding. Forget the train and book this.

We had a great time with Leonel. It's not our first visit to Portugal and this time we decided to see more than just taking the train ride from Porto to Lisbon. it ended up being just two of us in private and Leonel went off and beyond on sharing his knowledge and good mood. We felt we were being driven along by a friend. Highly reccommended.

Excellent Local Tour Guide for Portugal Tour!

We’ve just returned home after a wonderful trip through Portugal, and we can’t thank Leonel enough for an outstanding experience. The tour exceeded all expectations—beautifully balancing iconic highlights with hidden gems, and bringing everything to life with deep knowledge, enthusiasm, and plenty of patience (especially with our many questions 😊). Everything was perfectly paced, well-organised, and always on time. From great lunch stops to well-timed “comfort breaks,” every detail was thoughtfully handled. And the driving skills? Truly impressive—we’ll definitely leave that to the expert! This was an unforgettable journey, and our guide(Leonel) played a huge part in making it so. Highly recommended! Dankie! Tot weer siens / Thank you, till we meet again/ Abrigda, Até à próxima

    A Trip to Remember

We had the most memorable experience with Leonel. His knowledge and passion for sharing the amazing sites of his country made this trip one of the best we've been on. We visited Aviero, Nazare, and Obidos on our transfer from Porto to Lisbon. We learned a lot about these 3 places and enjoyed the sites. Leonel recommended a great restaurant for lunch away from all the tourists that was so delicious and filling! Also, his Volkswagen electric van was comfortable and a cool ride! We will definitely be contacting Leonel again when we come back to Portugal!

    Great experience!

We traveled from Lisbon to Porto with Leonel who provided us with useful information throughout our journey. We were so pleased with his transportation services that our initial one way journey for a five day visit led us to secure his services upon our return to Lisbon. He was flexible with our requests to visit Fatima as well as Obidos, and gave us pointers to make the most of our visit. We highly recommend Leonel for his professionalism and pleasant demeanor. He definitely made our first trip to Portugal even more memorable!

Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.

How much does Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.

Is Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon ↔ Porto - Transfer with Stops: Óbidos, Nazaré, Aveiro start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Porto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Porto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
