What you get

    About this experience

The Kinderdijk Windmills tour is a top three "must see" in Holland. Unique panorama's with the best typical Dutch photo (selfie) moments for a lifetime memory...THIS IS HOLLAND! The location is on about a 1 - 1 1/2 hour drive from Amsterdam (depends of the traffic). Visit a windmill, make a splendid boattrip to get the best angle for your photo's or get inspired by the serenity of this incredible Dutch landscape. On our way back to Amsterdam we will pull over for an interesting stop at a (cheese)farm (only if you want) where we are going to drink fresh pure milk straight from the cow. You for sure have never tasted this before! INCREDIBLE. I am your private guide and also your driver, well mannered and well educated.  I am fluent in English, speak some German, Spanish and Portugese.

The site is worth more but damaged by the accumulation of tourist attractions

Terrible time , it does not help . But stop at the parking indicated for the sites. 7, 50 euros parking and entrance tickets. For three a total of more than 50 euros. Departure by bus , arrival at the site . In fact I realize that other cars can do it and that the initial parking is a tourist catch. We came back several hours later by the same bus. A lot of tourists , everything arranged for them , lack of authenticity and charm We look for our hotel afterwards and we go through the windmills site with a more beautiful view. So no stop at this parking indicated from the entrance to kinderdijk

Response from the operator: This is not a tour from us!

A very good day to mills

Remco arrived right in time at our hotel. About an hour Kinderdijk by car. We laughed a lot in the car. The mills are a fairy tale. Thank you Remco

Response from the operator: Thanks for this review too Claudio. The windmills uuhhhh. Haha. I understand your feelings about that. A must see indeed when you visit Holland. Or was it The Netherlands ? :-) Please say hello to your family sir. XXX

    How they turn...

For those visiting Holland, it is worth a half-day visit to see the ancient windmills. The tours are well organized and it is fun to tour the canals by boat. Also interesting is the visit inside the mills. The only flaw, our guide spoke in English but not in Italian. To see

Response from the operator: NOT MY CLIENT! pls delete immediately

    legendary windmills

Windmills are one of the most famous symbols of the Netherlands, which of course is not to be missed. We spent a few hours in this region on a Saturday in superb weather. An absolute sight, especially since it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also a highlight was hiking through the reeds, as the mills were within walking distance of each other. We also visited a cheese farm (including tasting as much as we wanted). The entire park is free, so it's even more worthwhile to watch. Remco our guide, has guided us perfectly and in style around the area. Remco I would recommend to anyone! Thank you for the Dutch warmth and everything at all, it was a super great time!

Response from the operator: Vielen dank für deine Bewertung Debbie and bis zum nächsten mal. Eine grosse Umarmung für Malik. Tschüüüüüsssssssss

    Holland at its best

If you ever plan on visiting Holland, then you should definitely see the mighty Dutch windmills. They are a UNESCO World Heritage and a MUST SEE for anyone. We visited on a clear and windy day and saw the windmills in action. It was only a short distance by foot to visit the next windmill, leading through a bush of reeds that rustled in the wind. It was absolutely magnificent to visit the area, and absolutely free of charge. 😉 Our tour guide Remco also took us to a cheese farm where we bought all kinds cheeses as gifts for our friends and family back home. Best of all, we could try and eat as much as we wanted, FOR FREE. Many thanks to Remco our excellent tour guide, we really enjoyed it.

Response from the operator: It was my pleasure to be your guide. We had a great time 3> collect moments, not things ;-) Warm regards from beautiful Amsterdam

Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type cost?

    +

Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kinderdijk private tour WINDMILLS in luxury Jaguar S Type start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
