Khopra Danda Trek Nepal
I spent 10 days doing the Khopra Danda Trek which is doing it at a fairly slow pace. The weather was perfect, clear skies every day. Fantastic scenary. If you want to avoid the crowds then this trek is for you. My guide was Badri Panta of Mountain Mart Treks And Expedition. He was first class , looking after my every need. The organisation by him and his company was perfect.I give him and his company five stars.

Khopra Dada trek with amazing scenery - Well done Well Plan trek Mr, Ram
Since 2019, I have been engaging Well Plan Trekking for my trekking adventures, and over the years, Mr. Ram has consistently delivered excellent service. For our most recent journey, my friend Arjun and I chose the Khopra Danda Trek—and once again, Ram ensured everything was well-organized and smooth. From the beginning, Ram kept us well informed about the trekking package and the route. He and his team, including the same helpful porter who accompanied us in 2023, followed us throughout the trek, ensuring our safety and comfort. His professionalism, knowledge of the trails, and dedication truly represent the quality and reliability of the Well Plan Trekking brand. The Khopra Danda Trek was an unforgettable experience—breathtaking scenery and a perfectly managed itinerary. We truly enjoyed every moment and are grateful to Ram for making it so memorable. Without a doubt, we will continue trekking with Well Plan Trekking in the future. Thank you, Ram, for another wonderful adventure!

Another memorable trip. I'd been in Jiangsu in China, then Tibet, and came on to Nepal for just few days this time..
I've been trekking with Beyond the Limits maybe 15 times, in many parts of Nepal. They are always very competent at organising everything, and super reliable and trustworthy. The owner, Saroj Neupane, is a great guy, always trying to help those in Nepal who are less well of. Saroj can offer the well known treks, but if you want to get off the beaten track, ask Saroj !
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words and continued trust in Beyond the Limits. I'm delighted to hear about your memorable trekking experiences in Nepal. Khopra Ridge Trek April 2023
This was my most memorable trek in the magnificent Himalayas, being my second trek in the country. Saroj Neupane, MD of Beyond the Limits and his team of supporters were the perfect trekking companions for our group of five people. They were knowledgeable, ensured we were always safe and great fun to walk with. Not forgetting the wonderful card games in the evenings around a fire. We felt as though we were with our family, as we chatted about our day walking in the mountains. I would recommend them highly, and will definitely be using the company on my next trek in Nepal.
Response from the operator: Dear Maya We are thrilled to hear about your memorable trek with Beyond the Limits Treks in the Nepal Himalayas! Thank you for your kind words about our dedicated team. Providing a safe and enjoyable trekking experience is our utmost priority, and it warms our hearts to know we achieved that for you. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next adventure in Nepal. Your recommendation means the world to us, and we can't wait to create more unforgettable moments with you and your fellow trekkers. kind regards Saroj Neupane Managing Director

Khopra Danda Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Khopra Danda Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $1299 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Khopra Danda Trek take?
+
Plan for about 264 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Khopra Danda Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Khopra Danda Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Khopra Danda Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 264-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Khopra Danda Trek?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Khopra Danda Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
