An amazing day trip to Kazbegi

Levan was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and really invested in what he does! We had such a great time. We managed to do the hike quicker so we had enough time to go up to Gergeti Trinity Church for an extra cost but it was totally worth it! Highly recommend this tour if you’re a small group of friends and want to have one of the best days of your trip to Georgia.

The best Kazbegi tour you could ask for!

Before booking this trip I came across an endless amount of Kazbegi trips on viator, but I eventually decided to book this one as it seemed the most fun and it included the most spots. I have zero regrets and I’d go as far as saying this trip was one of the main highlights of my week in Georgia. The team is extremely professional they’ll get in touch with you with all the details and our tour guide Zezva was extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs and safety. I’ve already decided that next time I’m visiting Georgia I’m booking another tour with the same team and tour guide, I’m not exaggerating by saying that this was one of the best adventures of my life. From the hikes to the scenery, everything was memorable.

What a gorgeous day with the most amazing views!

Wonderful day out! Irakli was my tour guide for the day and he was great! Really made the experience personal with great suggestions and he clearly knows all the best spots… even taught me how to eat dumplings like a local! Highly recommend this tour, it really showed me how beautiful the country is.

A trip we we'll never forget!

Giorgi was an amazing tour guide! He picked us up from our airbnb and showed us everything we wanted to see and also to do extra activities such as paragliding. He also added a personal touch to the tour and shared personal experiences and gave us insights into how life in Georgia is. By the end of the day, it felt like Giorgi had become a close friend because of all the great conversations we had throughout the day. He was also very supportive throughout the tour. We discovered that there was a landslide due to heavy rain/bad weather the previous day and so the road was blocked to visit Gergeti Trinity Church however, Girogi made sure we saw it and instead we hiked up to the church. Its obvious that Giorgi and the team are passionate about what they do, don't miss the chance to experience an unforgettable experience!

Kazbegi Day Trip is a MUST

My day trip to Kazbegi with Giorgi was one of the highlights of my weeklong solo trip! The pick-up was easy, the drive on the Military Highway was stunning, lunch was local and authentic, and the hike itself was beautiful. Giorgi shared stories about our different stops at churches, monasteries, and monuments as well. I felt like I wasn’t getting a generic tourist experience, but rather an authentic taste of Kazbegi. Giorgi was thoughtful and SO much fun the entire time. On our way back into Tbilisi, he called and made a reservation for me at a restaurant I had been wanting to try since my SIM card didn’t allow phone calls. There are so many tour options out there, but this one was perfect!

Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.

How much does Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri cost?

    +

Prices start at $159 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.

Is Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kazbegi Adventure Day Trip - Hike to Gveleti waterfall plus Gergeti, Ananuri start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tbilisi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
