Day tour Kathmandu
Booked directly with Asian Heritage Treks and Expeditions. Nilam, the owner, is a great guy. Even speaks a nice mouth of Dutch. There are many highlights in Kathmandu. It's an impressive city. Then it is nice if there is someone who can tell you all about the location where you are and to whom you can ask questions. The tour guide cannot answer that.;) My guide Devi was very knowledgeable and a good narrator. He knows an awful lot about history and Buddhism and Hinduism. He managed to hold my attention and increase my interest. Asian Heritage takes good care of its customers, along with their driver and guides. I felt seen and treated by them as a friend instead of a commercial customer. I went home with a very nice experience. If I ever come back, I'll definitely go through Asian Heritage.
Response from the operator: Dear Monique, Namaste & Greetings from Asian Heritage! Thank you for your wonderful review and kind words. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time in Kathmandu and that Devi's knowledge and storytelling made your experience even more memorable. Your appreciation for our team means a lot to us. We always strive to treat our guests like friends, and we're glad you felt welcomed and cared for throughout your journey. We hope to welcome you back to Nepal again in the future! Thanks, and Best regards Asian Heritage Team

Nice Journey
Recently, I took the Everest Panoramic View Tour with Asian Heritage Treks and Travels, and it was unforgettable. The tour offered breathtaking views of the Himalayas, and our knowledgeable guide made the journey engaging with fascinating stories and facts about the region. The highlight was the sunrise view at Nagarkot, where we witnessed Mt. Everest in all its glory. The downhill hike and visits to charming villages added to the experience. The tour's reasonable price made it even more appealing. I highly recommend Asian Heritage Treks and Travels for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Nepal and the Himalayas.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience of the Everest Panoramic View Tour with Asian Heritage Treks and Travels! It sounds like you had an unforgettable journey filled with breathtaking views and engaging stories about the region from your knowledgeable guide. We appreciate you taking the time to share your tour review, and it's fantastic to know that you had such a memorable time on your journey. May your travel memories stay with you forever, and we hope you have more incredible adventures in the future! Sincerely, Asian Heritage Treks and Travels

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 24-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kathmandu Highlights - Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
