The food was good. We...
The food was good. We were full after the 3rd stop and couldn’t eat much more. Some of the places felt very touristy though. Our tour was awkward because it was just my partner and I. The tour guide didn’t really tell us anything about the area or the food. She didn’t know the neighborhoods well.
Response from the operator: We appreciate your comments regarding the guiding and the level of information shared during the tour. Providing context about the food and the area is an important part of the experience, and we will address this with our team to improve it moving forward. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the food and that the portions were generous. Our tours are small-group experiences, so the number of guests can vary depending on bookings — sometimes it’s just two people, while other times the group is larger. We also carefully select spots that are popular with locals rather than tourist-focused restaurants. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Guide didn’t turn up
The 4 of us waited at both times listed on the booking at 12:00 and 13:00 (very confusing) under Ataturk Statue whilst trying to call phone number provided for Footprint Tours. Could not contact anyone until too late and we were too hungry. We were offered a 3pm tour but too late as we had planned impeccably. Still waiting for refund. I suggest just downloading walking tour of street art from facebook into google maps and find good recommended restaurant.
Response from the operator: We’re truly sorry for the confusion and the disappointment it caused. There was a miscommunication on our side between the guides, and unfortunately, it led to you waiting at different times. That’s on us, and we take full responsibility. We understand how frustrating it was, especially since you had your day planned out. While we did try to offer you a later tour, we realize this didn’t work with your schedule, and we have already processed your refund. Thank you for sharing your feedback — it helps us improve our coordination so this doesn’t happen again. We’d love the chance to welcome you properly on a future tour and give you the experience you missed out on this time. Warm regards, The Foodprint Tours Team

Great way to see and taste the Asian side of Istanbul
Highly recommend this walking tour on the Asian side. We decided to save some money and make our own way over to Kadikoy using the Metro which was both easy and cheap. We were so lucky to have Madina as our guide - a highly intelligent and charming young lady from Uzbekistan. She took us to several food restaurants to try different things that we probably would never have tried during our short visit to Istanbul. She told us all about the Asian side of Istanbul and about her own country. We ate a lot and we talked a lot which was great - she felt like a friend by the end of the tour and even took us to the ferry to get home. A great value tour with a super friendly host.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kadıköy Street Food Crawl Wet Burgers and Fish Sandwiches start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
