Jungfrau, Top of Europe, was majestic!!!
Swiss Magic Tours was the best decision we made in exploring Switzerland. Our guide, Gean Carlos, was so personable. We explored the town of Lauterbrunnen where he showed us points of interest, including Staubbach Falls, free falling from the height of 974ft. Jungfraujoch was so majestic. We took a photo at the Stairway to Nothing, strolled the Cliff Walk, walked down to the glacier and went through the Ice Palace. Carlos wanted us to arrive before the crowds and also to see Jungfrau before the fog rolled in.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for choosing Swiss Magic Tours! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, and all the special experiences along the way. It is especially rewarding to know that Gean’s planning helped you arrive early enough to enjoy the mountain before the crowds and changing weather conditions. Thank you as well for your kind words about his personal attention and guidance throughout the day. Your feedback means a great deal to our entire team. We hope to welcome you back to Switzerland for another unforgettable experience in the future! Warm regards, Flávio Campos General Manager Swiss Magic Tours

From Zurich to the top of Europe
My wife and I had an unbelievable day with Swiss Magic Tours (SMT). The communication pre tour from the company was incredible, the tour driver was wonderful, on time, respectful and very patient. Benji was perfect, gave us the space we needed and filled the time with great conversation. The car was amazing, I could not recommend this company more. Book with them directly!!
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, We are truly delighted to read your wonderful review and to know that your experience with Swiss Magic Tours exceeded expectations. It is a pleasure to hear that our communication, service, and attention to detail made your journey so memorable. Benji and our entire team are grateful for your kind words. Providing comfort, flexibility, and unforgettable moments to our guests is what we strive for every day. Knowing that you would recommend us to your friends back in the States is the greatest compliment we could receive. We sincerely thank you for your trust and look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to Switzerland. Gean Teodoro Warm regards, Swiss Magic Tours

Experience perfect. Guide caring with older tourist.
Our tour was a tour of a lifetime. Clear day and perfect experience. Our group was 2 80 year olds and 2 people in their 70s. Our guide, Marcelo, made the tour work for us. It was very slippery at the top of the mountain so he held our hands and guided us to the edge of the mountain to see the views. Without him we wouldn't have ventured out to the top of see the views. Always felt safe with him. Thanks Marcelo! An experienced guide knows where to go so you save time, reduce stress and see things you wouldn't see on your own. Having a private tour is worth the expense so the tour meets your specific needs and isn't a group experience. In this situation we wouldn't have experienced the beauty of the mountain without our guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a special review! We are extremely happy to know that your experience was "the trip of a lifetime" and that Marcelo was key in making the tour safe and unforgettable. He is truly dedicated to offering the best, and it's wonderful to hear that he made a difference in important moments, like guiding you on the slippery parts at the top of the mountain. We completely agree that an experienced guide can transform a tour, and we're delighted that choosing a private tour met your expectations and needs. It’s an honor for us to have been part of such a meaningful journey for you! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again for more incredible moments. With gratitude, Swiss Magic Team

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley cost?
+
Prices start at $270 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jungfraujoch Private Tour Top of Europe and Lauterbrunnen Valley start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
