Knowledgeable guide who brings the history to life

Excellent walking tour. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable and had a way of explaining the history so it was easy to follow, even for people coming in with no background. The stories she told were the highlight, they gave real texture to each stop rather than just dates and facts. She even brought photographs of the people she was telling us about, so you could put a face to the stories, which made the whole thing feel much more alive. What stood out most was how genuinely she cares about Jewish history. That comes through in the way she talks about it, and it makes a real difference. She was also very prompt with responses before the tour, which made booking and planning straightforward. Highly recommend this one if you are interested in Jewish history in London.

Susannah’s enthusiasm is infectious!

We had the absolute best time on Susannah's Jewish History Tour. It was a birthday gift for my brother, and Susanna made him feel genuinely celebrated from the moment we met. She has such a warm, kind presence and immediately made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. What we loved most was how perfectly paced the tour was. The information was fascinating and engaging without ever feeling overwhelming. There was a brilliant mix of history, lesser known stories, quirky facts and local insights, which kept us interested throughout. Even though we live nearby and thought we knew the area well, Susannah showed us so many hidden corners and places we'd never discovered before. You can tell she really knows and loves the subject, and that enthusiasm is completely infectious. It felt more like spending a couple of hours exploring with a wonderfully knowledgeable friend than being on a formal tour. We'd recommend this tour to absolutely anyone, whether you're visiting London or have lived here for years. Thank you, Susannah, for making my brother's birthday so memorable. It was a real highlight, and we'll definitely be booking another tour with you!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review – it was an absolute pleasure to share the City's Jewish history with you all and I'm so glad your brother enjoyed it!

Great tour with rich history

Susannah is very knowledgeable and engaging. Because there were only two of us with her, we were able to have a real dialogue along the way. She’s a cornucopia of information about London history. Highly recommend!

Jewish History Walking Tour in London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Jewish History Walking Tour in London cost?

+

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Jewish History Walking Tour in London take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Jewish History Walking Tour in London worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Jewish History Walking Tour in London?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Jewish History Walking Tour in London suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Jewish History Walking Tour in London?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Jewish History Walking Tour in London start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
