Horrible experience. More like Jack the Trip Skipper
Booked online via Viator. Showed up very early at the meeting point. Waited until 30 minutes past the meeting time. No guide ever showed up. Reached out to Viator and awaiting refund. Would not recommend.
Response from the operator: Hello Kevin_K, Thank you for your review, we appreciate you sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you missed the tour, we understand this may be a Viator miscommunication issue, we will speak to them and help fix this issue. All the best Evan Evans

Great Tour by Guru Walks _Jamie the tour guide
We really enjoyed this 2 hour tour and it was different than what we expected, in a good way. I assumed it would be all about Jack the Ripper but it had a twist... it was about the women not the man/monster. Our tour guide, Jamie, was entertaining and knowledgeable while being very respectful to the women who lost their lives. Jamie set the scene up perfectly and his timing, locations and sharing the facts vs fiction was done really well. His passion for this topic was evident and he was excellent at the storytelling part of the tour. I learned more about this part of London's history and saw parts of the city I would never have explored if not for this tour. I definitely recommend it. It was a cool way to spend a few hours.
Response from the operator: Hello LWECS13, Thank you for leaving us feedback about the tour. We are glad that our team did a great job. We work very hard to ensure that our customers get outstanding service, and it makes us very happy that it reflected during your recent visit. We hope to see you again soon! Best wishes Evan Evans

They cancelled and have my money
Our trip was cancelled and now I'm having to make all kinds of calls to get a refund. They still have my money. I'm not sure if Trip Advisor is to blame but I waited on hold 10 minutes and my call was cut off. Terrible customer service.
Response from the operator: Dear Lacey, We are sorry that your tour was cancelled, however if you still haven't received your refund please email us at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk and we will have our team investigate this for you. Best regards, Evan Evans Team

Awesome and Creepy all at the same time!
We wanted a spooky adventure while in London and got it with the Jack the Ripper tour. Our guide walked us through the streets and brought the story to life. Standing where the victims once stood, while it was dark and drizzling, was cool and creepy. The fish and chips sampler was awesome also. Would highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a bit of the darker side of London!
Response from the operator: Hello Mary, Thank you so much for this 5-star review. We really appreciate you being a customer and helping to share the word about us. We hope to see you again on another one of our tours! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Terrible
Tour guide never showed up or let us know tour was cancelled. We. Are now trying to get a refund but we had to waste a night of our vacation getting to and from drop off site.
Response from the operator: Dear Jason_W, We are extremely sorry for failing to meet your expectations. We appreciate how frustrating this may be. Please email us at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk with your ticket ID number for further details on refunds. Best regards, Evan Evans Team

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 272 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist?
+
Around 95 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jack the Ripper Walking Tour with Ripper-ologist start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
