A simply outstanding and relaxing day out
Our experience was great, indeed quite exceptional. The booking was very professionally handled. Our pick up was prompt on time in a clean modern coach with a professional and efficient guide Melanie who I will comment on more. We were kept superbly informed of what was happening on the coach journey to the port on the other side of the island. We immediately boarded the boat for our day cruise round Ithaca. Melanie explained to the itinerary clearly and in great detail and throughout the course of the day kept everybody informed at every stop. She was friendly conversational professional throughout and is an example of how a perfect tourguide should be. She really made an outstanding day special for everyone. The Ithaca tour is one of the best excursions we have ever been on thoroughly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that everything, from the booking process to the cruise around Ithaca, exceeded your expectations. Your kind words about Melanie mean a great deal to us. She is truly passionate about what she does, and we're thrilled that her knowledge, enthusiasm, and care helped make your day so memorable. We'll be sure to pass on your lovely comments to her. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Kefalonia for another unforgettable experience in the future!

Ithaca Boat Trip
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Ithaca cruise with tour leader Melanie. The boat trip was excellent with 2 swimming stops and 2 stops on different parts of the island to look round and for lunch. Melanie accompanied us throughout and her cheerfulness and excellent knowledge of the area and what to expect was excellent. I would recommend this as a must whilst staying on Kefalonia.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We hope to see you in our future trips!

Brilliant Ithaka trip
Brilliant tour with #jet2 and ace travel, tour guide Melanie was full of knowledge of the island and was happy to chat about her personal experiences of living in kefalonia and random facts as I peppered her with questions about out of season life! She clearly loves her job and has a passion for the kefalonian life. Ithaka boat trip was amazing, clear seas , lots of sun, swimming in crystal clear water, fresh wild mountain goat and onion pie and lots of photos opportunities. Well worth it and the coach trip, whilst longish from Lourdata allowed for some site seeing of Argostoli and the mountains
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review and your kind words! Hope to have you among us again soon!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cephalonia.
How much does Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cephalonia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cephalonia is not rushed.
Is Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cephalonia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cephalonia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cephalonia and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ithaca Cruise with Swimming Stops & Hotel Transfers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cephalonia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cephalonia?
+
On Outty we rank every Cephalonia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include "Dreamy cruise"Daily Cruise from Argostoli harbour with a traditional Greek boat, "QueenBee" Full-Day Boat Trip with Lunch, Kefalonia Island Bus Tour- Wine Tasting, Melissani & Fiscardo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cephalonia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cephalonia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
