Great day out exploring Kefalonia.

Had a great day - packed in a lot! Maria was a delight and absolutely amazing - soo much knowledge and passion for her island home. And as for Stratos our bus driver - what a legend. If you were to see what we did on your own without a car - it would have taken a day or 2. i would have liked a bit more time in each place, getting back a bit later could accommodate that - just a suggestion, but also understand - there was a lot to get through. All in all loved our day out and loved Kefalonia. A big thank you.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that Maria and Stratos made your day so memorable. We’re glad you enjoyed discovering so much of beautiful Kefalonia in one day! We truly appreciate your suggestion about allowing more time at each stop and will keep it in mind. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to see you again!

Great way to see the island

A great trip and lovely way to see the main features of the island. The guide was brilliant and very knowledgable and we learned so much from her - even my 10 year old said how fascinating the stories were. Timings were all great apart from we felt we needed around 30 minutes more time in Fiskardo as it was hard to fit in exploring and photographing as well as a meal.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed discovering the highlights of Kefalonia and that our guide’s knowledge and storytelling made the experience particularly enjoyable for your family. It is wonderful to know that even your 10-year-old found the stories fascinating! We also appreciate your feedback regarding the time in Fiskardo. Your comments are very valuable and will be taken into consideration as we continue to improve the experience for our guests. The Kefalonia Excursions Team

Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cephalonia.

How much does Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cephalonia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cephalonia is not rushed.

Is Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 89 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 240 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Cephalonia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour?

+

Around 84 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cephalonia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cephalonia and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Assos and Fiscardo Island Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cephalonia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cephalonia?

+

On Outty we rank every Cephalonia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include "Dreamy cruise"Daily Cruise from Argostoli harbour with a traditional Greek boat, "QueenBee" Full-Day Boat Trip with Lunch, Kefalonia Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cephalonia?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cephalonia?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
