Disappointing
Rather disappointed. They did not advertise that people over 60 could not snorkel. I am 77 but in decent shape. In a Hawaii snorkeling tour, the boat stayed put and one could explore locally near the boat. It was great. On this one, they dropped people off and moved the boat a quarter mile away. Then everyone had to swim as a group to the boat. We went on the trip to snorkel but were not allowed to. The first island stop was a waste of time, just giving us a few minutes to shop at a bunch of local vendors. We did not sign up to shop, we signed up to snorkel. At the second stop, the food was great, something for everyone. Other reviewers complained about it being crowded, but not in our case. Then we elected to take the "golf cart" tour. It was a joke for $65. There were exactly two sites. The first was supposed to be Mayan ruins, but it was only a 20-minute stop. We could not have spent nearly enough time in the ruins to justify spending $8 each (extra). Then they did a drive-by tour of a beautiful cemetery. We would like to have gotten out and walked around, but nope, we had to keep moving. I could not believe it when the final stop was back at the resort. Nowhere near worth the money. Back at the resort, the water was rather murky and the music (as always in Mexico) was really loud. Would I do this tour again? NO. Our hotel manager was great in arranging this tour -- I'll do a separate review -- but the tour itself was hardly worth it. The best part was the buffet.
Response from the operator: Hi, I´m so sorry for this experience, but as you said you buy the tour whit an agent in your hotel, he could give you the snorkeling information which is always a stop is not because we have an issute if you make the activity is because is a legal problem for us, the same for the golf cart we used to said the true, is a guided tour which takes only two stops and is only one hour for the tour so you have limited time to see everything, I´m sorry for your experience.

Must do!!
This is our 3rd excursion with them since 2019. The guides and crew were amazing. They always made sure we had drinks in our hands and playing great music. Safety is paramount for this company. The platinum package includes transportation to and from the port without any additional fees. It includes drinks, snorkeling, lunch at their beach club on Isla Mujures, plus time in the town. In the town you can buy traditional foods, snacks, and souvenirs. The catamaran was beautiful and clean. The guide for snorkeling was great. This was a great excursion for family or couples.

Boat Trip - Had the Best time
We travelled as a couple. I had mobility issue and was walking with a stick. The staff were so helpful. I was wishing the weather had been better and we would have went twice during out 2 week holiday. No sargassum at Isla Mujeres. Very hotel. No breeze. Food was buffet but plentiful. Don't forget the salad and fruit. The golf buggies was fab. Remember your Driving licence as this is required. Highly recommend.

This tour even though it’s expensive the fee was the best I’ve ever had on a catamaran ! Very professional no bad attitude and made sure ever guest was taken care of ! Thank you Papi and team ! Yuli thank you for returning the thing my husband left on your boat yesterday! You are all honest good people!

Horrible Experience
Once we arrived at the boarding check in area, we were told we could upgrade to a more "exclusive experience" for $49 per person. There were 10 of us, so that added an unexpected $490 to the cost. They also charged us a $25 per person documentation fee, totaling another $250. Later, we found out the actual fee was only 15 pesos, which is less than $1 USD per person. We were told we would be taken to Playa Norte, but it was not the real Playa Norte. We have visited Isla Mujeres many times and knew immediately it was not the same location. We were only allowed to stay there for about an hour before being taken to their "Beach Club." The Beach Club was extremely disappointing. The food was poor, the water was nowhere near as beautiful as Playa Norte, and we were essentially stuck there for 3.5 hours with nothing to do. To make matters worse, while sitting at the back of the boat, we watched the staff collect used drink cups from passengers, immediately refill them without washing or rinsing them, and hand them to other guests. This was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. Overall, it was a terrible experience. We ended up paying more than $800 above the original cost and felt misled throughout the entire excursion. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.
