Nik was a world class tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, funny, cheeky, and great with the whole family. We were astonished with the depth of his knowledge, his animated personality, and his skill in delivering so much interesting historical information. A day of history brought to life by Nik!

Nik was a wonderful tour guide. Promptly and with a genuine smile and handshake he picked us up at our hotel and took us all around London. He provided excellent information on the history of London and chose an excellent place for us to have lunch. Nik provided lots of opportunities for great photos and was an excellent photographer too. We had lots of time at each location and didn’t feel rushed at all. We were able to make some wonderful memories on our day out with Nik that will not be forgotten. Thank you Nik for the wonderful day!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful feedback. It is most appreciated and we are glad you had a good day with us.

    Best of London with Nik!

This was the absolute best tour of London we had! Nik was our guide and he was beyond amazing!!!! It was a full day, Nik was very accommodating for our family of 8. He was super knowledgeable, very polite and patient and awesome to talk to. We were laughing the entire time. We learned so much about each of the stops we made that we didn’t want the tour to end. He actually was so good we booked another tour to Stonehenge and Bath and requested Nik but unfortunately he was booked for several weeks. Nik went above and beyond on this tour and for our family. My 79 year old MIL (with a bit of mobility issues) came with us and anytime she had to stop and rest, Nik would stay with her and make sure she was comfortable. He took the time to get to know us and we had the best time!! Highly recommend this company and make sure to ask for Nik!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful feedback it is much appreciated.

    Historic Private tour in London

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Kingdom Tours, and especially with our guide, Nick! From start to finish, the day was seamless, informative, and truly memorable. Nick brought the history of London to life in a way that felt engaging, fun, and never overwhelming. His knowledge is incredible, but what really stood out was his ability to tailor the tour to exactly what we wanted—mixing iconic landmarks with hidden gems we never would have found on our own. He handled all the logistics effortlessly, making the day completely stress-free. Whether we were exploring historic sites, hearing fascinating stories, or getting great local recommendations, Nick made every moment count. If you’re looking for a private tour in London, don’t think twice—book with Kingdom Tours and ask for Nick. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful feedback.

Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $995 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour?

    +

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Historical City of London Private Sightseeing Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
