Magnificent walk, spectacular views!!!
The amazing views, although it was dry the walk and especially the Spectacular viewpoint, the very friendly guide explaining and going to the slow pace of me, my has beautiful photos, it is a pleasure that there are these places and that they are local people

Overall A Good Experience
If you’re booking this tour for the 12km/7.45mile hike, don’t go. The hike portion was definitely less than 3.22km/2miles. When I texted to ask what the itinerary was, they said it’d be 2 hours of hiking, so that made us a little worried- but like I said it was less than 2 miles. I recommend asking when the actual check in is, the booking said 9am but that was when the activity started. If you’re getting transported, it’s earlier. We checked in at 7:45am, the transportation arrived at 8:10. Then it took about 40 minutes to get there. Then for the actual tour it went like this: 10 minutes in a UTV, 45 minutes of hiking, about 5 minutes in a UTV, 360 viewpoint, then about 15 minutes back to the point we started, then about an hour for lunch (you had to check when the next transportation was leaving). The tour was just me, my partner, and the guide. The hike portion was about 45 minutes, a small-ish portion uphill (very beginning had to climb over a tree) and most was down hill. I will say, there are some (what I consider) giant spiders- about half my palm size and the webs were about 4 times my head size. I hate spiders so if you are terrified of them, consider that. Also, most of the path was loose dirt, so I’d recommend wearing shoes with grips. The “waterfall” was more of a trickle. Our tour guide said during the rainy season it turns more into a waterfall, but he also said it doesn’t rain that much. Our tour guide was friendly. I will say his English wasn’t perfect and there were some language barriers. He said he didn’t really speak English, only 1.5ish years of trying to speak it. We understood most of what he was saying, but if you have auditory processing issues, are hard of hearing, have a bigger group, or space out for a second, you’d miss what he was saying. The guide talked about birds there and the trees. There was a lot of cow poop on the trail too. I don’t think the trail was maintained all the time- our guide had to snap a branch or two. For us, we really wanted to see the 360 viewpoint and go across one of the suspension bridges, so that is why it was an overall good experience. But if you’re going for the hike, I wouldn’t recommend it. Me and my partner completed it in 45 minutes with a few short breaks and moments where we’d stop and the guide took our photo for us. I’m an occasional hiker with asthma, my partner isn’t, and we were able to get through it fine enough. Also, from what I heard on a different event in town, this company and others tends to falsely advertise (coming from another tourist and a local), so I’d make sure to do as much research as you can. Additionally, they did provide a water bottle and two apples for us, and a welcome small shot of fruit punch. We didn’t do the tequila tasting, but we heard there were 7 at the end of the tour if we wanted. For the food we bought, it was pretty good. My partner had the chicken quesadilla and we shared the bbq platter for 2. The bbq platter I’d definitely recommend. I will say, for the price of the tour it’s not completely worth it, other tours we’ve done that included more costed less. But again, this tour included the 360 viewpoint and bridge, so we liked it for that.

3 km hike when announced at 12 km
Hike only one hour, 3 km when announced at 12 km and 5 hours. A truck takes us to the top of the mountain to descend it and arrive at the restaurant where we spend 1h15. Disappointing when you expect a 12 km climb! The guide Chris is very kind and attentive. The view is magnificent, many animals crossed: macaw parrots, deer, cow, coati, a wide variety of birds. We cross a bridge in the mountain and look out onto a glass platform.

Small hike in Sierra Madre Occidental
The hiking was beautiful seing macaws, coati, cow, deer, a lot of birds and going on the bridge and glass point of view. The guide Chris is really nice and sociable, and knows well about the trees. But for hiking lovers, the hike that is announced 12km or 5 hours is actually 3 km only 1 hour! You start at the top and go down until you end up to the restaurant for more than one hour. Disappointing when you expect a real long hike going up the moutain.
