English speakers: AVOID!
ENGLISH SPEAKERS: DO NOT BOOK! This is a massive tourist trap that provides no value, you spend more time being upsold textiles, candles, mezcal, and a bad buffet lunch than you do at the actual points of interest. We booked this tour for two reasons: first, its marketing for English speakers, and second, for the itinerary and the order of the itinerary. Our guide spoke almost no English whatsoever. We were lumped into a group with entirely Spanish speaking tourists, so the guide spoke 95% in Spanish. The tour guide at the weaving workshop is just a salesman, singled us out as English speakers and made lewd jokes (would accept the women’s bodies as payments for the rugs) and then proceeded to give higher prices for the rugs in English than in Spanish. You spend more time being upsold rugs, candles, and mezcal than you do at any of the actual spots. They shorten the tree, Mitla, and Hierve el Agua. We had specifically selected this tour because it literally number-items the points of interest in the order that you visit them. Every other tour company advertised visiting Hierve el Agua second to last, so we picked this one in attempt to avoid the crowds. They just do the same thing as every other tour company. Don’t be fooled. Finally, when expressing that they marketed their tour incorrectly when 95% of the tour was in Spanish, they responded by saying their tours are both English and Spanish speaking. That would require at least a 60/40 split. Would not recommend booking ANY tour with Aviaco Tours, whose vans also say MXTours on them.

Drop off and pick up was...
Overall good experience of Oaxaca. Drop off and pick up was not the same as booking stated. I did not like being dropped off somewhere else at 9pm. Some confusion about what was prepaid with booking company and tour guide. I was the only person who booked through Viator (no one else on the tour had these issues).
