What you'll see and do
Green Park
Opened in 1906, Dover Street station was built to serve the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway – the Piccadilly line as we know it today. Located on the edge of Mayfair and in the vicinity of three of London’s Royal Parks, it became one of the busiest stations on the line and was quickly renamed to its current name, ‘Green Park’ in 1933. This guided tour takes you into Dover Street, a station hidden within a station. You’ll discover Dover Street’s fascinating story - complete with tales of wartime intrigue - former passageways and lift landings that have been closed to passengers for decades, and strikingly vast ventilation shafts and corridors.

We arrived at the exact...
We arrived at the exact start time of the tour, and there was nobody there. We called the museum and they could not get us in touch with the guide. Very disappointing. We did get a refund, but word to the wise, arrive 15 minutes early.

A fascinating experience under the heart of London
Excellent tour and fascinating to learn about the role of the station during WWII. The highlight was definitely the ventilation shaft!! Amazing engineering...

Fun and Factual
This was such a great tour. We went to lots of places closed off to the public, was fun watching the faces of the regular tube passengers as we went through closed off doorways, you could see them wondering where we were all going. There was a lot of information and history of the stations and the guides were knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic telling us stories of what used to go on in these areas. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone interested in the history of the London Underground or just to do something different while in London. We will be booking to do some of the other Hidden London tours.

Fascinating!
Dover Street Hidden London Tour - absolutely brilliant! The guides were so nice and knowledgeable. My 10 year old son Gabriel had been waiting to do his first your for years and loved every moment of it. Right after he pulled us to visit the outside of Down Street station where we bought an ice cream haha. Thank you for being so nice! Absolute privilege to see the areas no one else does!

Perfectly Choreographed. A MUST DO!
This is my second Hidden London tour and I hope I can do a third one the next time I come to London again! Everything is so well choreographed and the guides’ delivery is always on point. Yes, it might be expensive but for the experience I say it’s a must do!

Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station cost?
+
Prices start at $63 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour, Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Hidden Tube Walking Tour of Green Park Station?
+
Included: 80 minute guided walking tour of the hidden areas Green Park tube Station. Not included: Transportation to and from Green Park Station. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
