A frightening experience with an extremely aggressive and verbally abusive driver – avoid Ezywizz
I rarely write reviews of this nature, but what my family experienced with an Ezywizz driver was so unacceptable that I believe other travellers, particularly families with children, should be aware of it. We booked and prepaid for an airport transfer through Trip.com, operated by Ezywizz Limited, from Heathrow Airport to our hotel in London. We were visiting London on holiday with our children, including our 13-year-old daughter. The problems began before we had even left the airport. My daughter had briefly rested her knee/leg on the car seat while we were getting settled. She had already put her leg back down before the driver approached the vehicle. Despite this, the driver went directly to her side of the vehicle, aggressively pulled open the sliding door and confronted her directly in an authoritative and hostile manner, demanding that she put her leg down — even though she had already done so. What disturbed me was not simply what he was asking, but the manner in which an adult professional driver chose to confront a 13-year-old child while her parents were sitting right there. Because we were a family with young children, it was late at night, and we were dependent on a prepaid transfer to reach our hotel, I did not feel comfortable challenging his behaviour while my family was still inside his vehicle. I made the conscious decision to wait until we had safely arrived at our hotel. Once we arrived, I approached the driver calmly and explained that my daughter was a minor and that if he had any concerns regarding one of my children, he should address them with me as the parent rather than aggressively confronting my child. His reaction was immediately very aggressive and confrontational. He began yelling at me in the street outside our hotel. He called me a “liar” and a “bad parent” and repeatedly questioned my parenting. He insisted that he had every right to speak directly to my 13-year-old daughter and said that he needed to yell at her because she “needed discipline.” I found this completely unacceptable. Whatever his view of a child briefly resting her leg on a seat, it was neither his role nor his responsibility to “discipline” someone else's child, particularly by the way he acted. I repeatedly asked the driver to leave and tried to bring the confrontation to an end. He would not stop. Despite being asked multiple times to leave, he continued yelling and arguing in the street in front of my children. The confrontation then became increasingly personal and bizarre. He repeatedly brought up the fact that I am a doctor, despite this having absolutely nothing to do with what had happened, and continued making comments about my parenting. He also complained that we had “wasted his time” with our journey from the airport — despite this being a prepaid airport-transfer service that we had booked and paid for. Throughout this, my young children were witnessing his behaviour and were genuinely frightened. At this point, his behaviour appeared to me to be completely unhinged. What had begun over my daughter briefly resting her leg on a seat — something she had already stopped doing before he even confronted her — had escalated into a driver yelling in the street, insulting me personally, questioning my parenting, telling me that my daughter needed discipline, insisting that he had a right to yell at a minor, complaining that our paid journey had wasted his time, and continuing the confrontation even after I repeatedly asked him to leave. His behaviour was so hostile and unpredictable that hotel staff who witnessed the incident were visibly shocked. After the driver finally left, members of staff approached us themselves to express their concern about what they had witnessed and commented on how unpredictable his behaviour appeared. We reported the incident to Ezywizz immediately afterwards through the Trip.com chat function. Their response was essentially an apology for the inconvenience and that they would speak to the driver. We subsequently received no meaningful explanation of what action had been taken, no proper follow-up and no satisfactory resolution from Ezywizz. Trip.com ultimately refunded us the full cost of the transfer. Given the seriousness of what occurred, I also formally reported the driver's conduct to Transport for London. In our case, an Ezywizz driver aggressively confronted our 13-year-old daughter over something she had already stopped doing, later yelled at me in the street, called me a liar and a bad parent, questioned my parenting, claimed my daughter “needed discipline,” insisted that he had every right to yell at her, complained that our journey had wasted his time, and continued the confrontation despite being repeatedly asked to leave. His behaviour was sufficiently alarming that independent hotel staff approached us afterwards to express concern. Yet after reporting all of this, the only substantive response we received from Ezywizz was that they would “speak to him.” For an airport-transfer company entrusted with transporting families and children, I find both the driver's behaviour and the company's subsequent handling of our complaint completely unacceptable. What should have been a routine airport transfer at the beginning of our family holiday instead ended with our children frightened and our family deeply distressed by the behaviour of the person entrusted with transporting us safely from the airport. Based on our experience, I would never use Ezywizz again and would encourage others to completely avoid them. Families travelling with children in particular: I strongly recommend choosing another transfer company.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 1.2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1.2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Heathrow Airport to London or London to Heathrow Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
