DO NOT USE GOLDERN TOURS FOR HARRY POTTER
AVOID GOLDEN TOURS – TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I booked well in advance and was repeatedly told that our departure was at 1:30pm from Victoria. I even contacted Golden Tours several times on WhatsApp to confirm the time, and every time I was told yes, 1:30pm from Victoria was correct. I had already checked the guide myself and could only see departures from Victoria at 1pm and 2pm. I specifically pointed this out to them, yet they still assured me that my information was correct. My family, including a newborn baby and young children, travelled across London on the Tube to get to Victoria. When I messaged them yet again, I was suddenly told there had been a “technical glitch” and that we actually needed to be at King’s Cross. This wasn't simply a technical glitch. I had questioned the information multiple times and gave them every opportunity to check it properly. I then had to pay a significant amount for a black cab from Victoria to King’s Cross just to make sure we didn't miss the trip. If I hadn't checked again myself, my children's day out, which they had been looking forward to all year, could have been completely ruined. The most frustrating part is that this was entirely avoidable. All it required was someone to properly check the booking when I repeatedly raised concerns. My advice: do not book through Golden Tours. Book directly and in advance. In our case, it would also have cost around half the price. Extremely disappointing experience.

Horrible
Very unhappy with the experience. They didn't speak Spanish but they didn't make the effort to explain the instructions to me either. The bus driver was also quite unpleasant and in the end they didn't put on any Harry Potter movie. Terrible service

Fantastic Tour for Harry Potter fans
The tour was fantastic. The amount of time we had at Warner Brothers Studio went by quickly and would have been great if could have had another hour there, as felt a bit rushed. Especially as there were lines to see certain things such as prover drive house etc. would have been nice if audio for tour was included in the price, given how much it cost. Having said that it was a wonderful experience and great that we did not have to navigate the roads.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross take?
+
Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 311 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross?
+
Around 109 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London from King's Cross start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
