About this experience

The activity consists of an interactive cooking class where we will prepare a typical Apulian lunch together. We will provide you with an apron each and all the utensils to get your hands in the dough and learn every step and secret of our traditional recipes. Together with my husband Stefano we open the doors of our country house to teach you the Apulian cooking techniques that you can easily replicate at home. We will learn together to select the ingredients of our land according to the season, and while preparing the dishes we will tell you their history and that of typical products and local traditions. Afterwards we will enjoy lunch or dinner with a starter and concluding with a dessert, the classic tiramisu that we will prepare together. It will be an experience that you will carry with you forever, through which we want to transmit our passion for slow living, good food, nature and the products that every day offers us. We are waiting for you

Perfect time with perfect hosts

we had a perfect time. We really felt welcomed by our hosts, they treated us like long time friends. The cooking class was fun and easy. We will cook focchacia, orichette and tiramisu at home for sure. We had a blast. We ate like kings and queens. Everything was homemade, fresh, including the limoncello, and delicious. We strongly recommend. You'll spend a very nice time with Domenica and Stefano. Thank you to our perfect hosts.

Response from the operator: Thank you, you were fantastic.

Highly Recommend this Authentic Puglian Experience!

Domenica and Stefano are a lovely husband and wife team. They teach about the local foods and ingredients, all of which are either from their cute country house where the event takes place or local to Noci where they’re both from. Very convenient location from Alberobello or nearby towns. They generously provided many foods and drinks to try between cooking and then we ate together - family style. Great conversation. Would definitely recommend this class, great value and cultural experience to learn about authentic Puglian foods. We made two pastas an tiramisu - all very delicious!

Response from the operator: You are fantastic. Thank you.

A fantasidic experience!

It was a perfect evening with super delicious food. There were many different appetizers from our own garden or the region, 2 different local pastas from which we learned a lot and a homemade tiramisu. In addition delicious wine around good conversations in a real Italian home with super friendly hosts. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you, you are wonderful.

Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Alberobello & Locorotondo.

How much does Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature cost?

+

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Alberobello & Locorotondo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Alberobello & Locorotondo is not rushed.

Is Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Alberobello & Locorotondo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Alberobello & Locorotondo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Alberobello & Locorotondo and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hands in dough between orecchiette and focaccia in nature start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Alberobello & Locorotondo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Alberobello & Locorotondo?

+

On Outty we rank every Alberobello & Locorotondo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Monopoli Shared tour by Gozzo boat to the Polignano caves, Boat tour from Monopoli to the Polignano caves with aperitif, Alberobello Guided Segway and Mini Golf Cart Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Alberobello & Locorotondo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Alberobello & Locorotondo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
