About this experience

Locorotondo is one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Murgia of Trulli in Puglia, the typical local houses. The historic center has a circular shape, with elegant architecture and unique colors: white dominates among houses, churches, buildings, enriched by vibrant tones of flowers. The guided tour begins at Piazza Antonio Mitrano and enters the historic center, where two large columns mark the ancient Porta Napoli. From here, following our itinerary, you can admire buildings such as the former town hall, now the Communal Library, with its simple historic façade and elegant entrance, the Baroque Morelli Palace, with its splendid portal and small wrought-iron balconies, and finally the Mother Church. Dedicated to St.George, the church was built in 1790 on the site of three previous churches dedicated to the same saint. Among white houses adorned with deep red geraniums and colorful flowers blooming in every corner, Locorotondo reveals itself as an authentic and charming village
