Lilly's great. She has a lot of knowledge about fruit and Mexico. Sooo friendly and full of power. It was a wonderful day

Lilly's a really great woman. The fruit tour we would do again at any time. She also has knowledge of Mexico and she has a lot of power.

Response from the operator: Vielen Dank für das liebe Feedback!

Guided Tasting of 15+ tropical fruit in Playa del Carmen

We LOVED this fruit tasting adventure with Liliana—an amazing, knowledgeable, trustworthy travel guide and local artist with a heart of gold!! 🍉🍍 We tried so many fruits and even discovered three new favorites we didn’t know existed thanks to her😍 She gave us various fruit candies, and showed us how to pick and choose the best fruit from different market locations allowing us to explore the area. She bought us a delicious fruit drink of our choosing. She was fun, knowledgeable, and gave awesome tips on avoiding tourist traps and finding authentic Mexican and Mayan food + cultural experiences. As we past various items she explained the cultures and traditions of the items and materials used 🌮💛 We feel lucky to have had the private tour because she was able to get to know us better and vice versa. This allowed her to give personalized tips and advice for our trip. We asked many questions and she had an answer for all of them making the experience even richer. The picnic was comfy and so much fun. She came prepared with excellent bug spray and a blanket for the light rain. DO NOT SKIP THIS EVEN IF IT RAINS. It is fun! Liliana shared her experiences in such a genuine way. A must for any foodie wanting a real, wholesome Mexican experience! Wish we booked this sooner on our trip! Big thanks, Liliana—we hope to see you in Canada one day!✨

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
