Highly recommend this activity with Rim Tours.
Family of four with two teenagers. Marla was amazing - love her!! She was so knowledgeable and patient with our family, and taught us so much about the area, and how to bike the trails. Highly recommend this activity to families traveling to Moab.

Family friendly tour!
This tour is fantastic! We took our boys, 8 & 13 and they were able to do everything with us. You get a nice mix of everything including cool views and cool geological features. The guides were very accommodating and went our pace, they were both very thoughtful to make it a good experience. We stopped and snacked and hiked around and hunted for cool rocks. It got toasty in the end, bring long sleeve sunshirts and lots of water. Would definitely recommend!

Outstanding guides!
Outstanding introduction to mountain biking! Nice variety, to allow us to experience different terrain. Guides gave great instructions. Nice scenery. A couple of people fell off their bikes, but nothing serious.

Loads of Fun
This was a great experience! Flying Brian is an awesome guide and very knowledgeable of the trails and Moabs history. He explained all the basics of trail riding for those who have never done this kind of riding before.

Slick Rock MTB guided ride with Rim Tours
We were in town for a couple of days with our teenage kids and wanted to ride Slick Rock. As fairly experienced mountain bikers, I was a little skeptical about booking a tour over just renting bikes and riding. But I am so glad we did! Slick Rock is completely unique to anything else we have ever ridden before, and our guide Jeff was amazing. To have a local guide you round the trail and show you the best sections to session and where to stop for views etc just took the whole experience to another level. The bikes and equipment were top level and way better than if we had had just “rented” and ridden. The overall cost was barely more than just renting anyway, so the value for money was awesome. I cannot recommend this enough, even for experienced riders.

Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.
How much does Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse) cost?
+
Prices start at $210 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse) take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.
Is Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse)?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse)?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Guided Beginner Mountain Biking Tour in Moab (Courthouse) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moab?
+
Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moab?
+
April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moab?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
