    Perfect!

Jay our tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable

Response from the operator: True that. Jay's a veteran guide and total pro. And on top of that, the Colorado River provides so much opportunity for a perfect day. We are pleased to make it happen. Cheers from WWV!

    Family friendly Fun

Wonderful trip. Very family friendly. The staff was so nice and knowledgeable. Constance was an awesome guide and patient with the kids-even let them paddle ans made sure they had plenty of time for swimming alongside the raft. She was so knowledgeable about the water and the local area. Really enjoyable experience. Would go again!

Response from the operator: Katie, thank you for this feedback! The things you say here are the whole idea behind what we do. (Also because we love rivers and enjoy sharing the love). Your words go a long way and will mean a lot to Constance as well. Let's go boating again!

    Family float

We rented kayaks for the self-guided friendly float. They communicated great and made sure we had everything we needed to have a safe and fun trip. With a group that ranged from age 3 to 63, this is not an easy thing to do and I appreciated their extra efforts! Will definitely use them again the next time we head to Moab!

Response from the operator: Great to hear back from you all; it gives us extra pep in our step (float in our boat?) to know it worked out so well for the whole group! Looking forward to the next time! Let's go boatin'!

    This is an absolute must...

This is an absolute must do in Moab. It was a very scenic, relaxing, and enjoyable trip on the Colorado River. Our guide, “Chrispy,” was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a wealth of information about the river and geological structures. This adventure was also very entertaining as we had super soaker encounters with other rafters on the river! We will definitely do this again when we return to Moab.

Response from the operator: Denise, you just described an excellent summer day on the Colorado River with a top-notch raft guide! Exactly what we are going for. It makes our day that we (especially Chris P) made your day! Thank you for rafting with us, and for the shout out to Chris P. Let's hit the river again soon!

Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip take?

    +

Plan for about 4.2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip?

    +

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 4.2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Family-Friendly Moab Raft Trip start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
