10/10 experience!
We had so much fun!!! This was a very very easy ride down the river. It was nice to just float down and learn more about Moab. Lauri, was our guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, super cool guy. Had great conversations. Our fav part was jumping out and riding through the rapids with our life vest.

Great time. River was low...
Great time. River was low but we knew that going into it. Jayden kept us entertained the entire time. We had fun, learned some and stayed cool. Give that girl the parking spot!

Experience of a lifetime, and YES there are Black Bears in the desert 😉
Shawn was an excellent guide!! We had an amazing time and actually saw a Black Bear, two Bald Eagles a Magpie and Herons. It was also pointed out to us the area that many westerns were filed including Horizon One. Then we laid eyes on the Butte that Blaze of Glory video by Bon Jovi was filmed on for the movie Young Guns 2. All in all I rate the experience as a top notch adventure that everyone should experience. Oh ya and ask for the Navy Vet, Shawn for your guide-class act

Amazing! River was rocky,...
Amazing! River was rocky, but calm, a lot of history & site seeing from the river was better than being on top of the world! Shayan was great! A lot of funny stories but still a lot of historical stories!

Wonderful experience on...
Wonderful experience on the Colorado River! Our guides Kenny and Shaun were very personable and excellent at navigating the water. We were able to swim at various points and also float the rapids at a safely designated spot. Truly enjoyed and would highly recommend to all families looking for a great time rafting on the river in Moab!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.
How much does Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.
Is Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half Day Guided Whitewater Rafting in Moab start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moab?
+
Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moab?
+
April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moab?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
