    Great Company To Rent From

This company was very easy to rent from and we had a great time. He rented a Bronco and hit Shafer trail, Gemini Bridges and Long Canyon/Pucker Pass. All trails were great but the start of Shafer and Pucker Pass were our favorites. Would rent from them again. 200 mile limit before extra 30 cents per mile charge was easy to avoid…we had 12 miles left after doing the above trails and driving around Moab a bit. Great time!

Response from the operator: Thanks for the great review! So far you have come the closest to using all the free miles, and like you said you had plenty left over. Looks like you hit the full trio of best trails for a day of wheeling. We look forward to seeing you again sometime.

    Good jeep rental

Moab jeep self drive with Canyonlands Jeep Adventures, booked through TripAdvisor. Communication and information was excellent. Took out CDW at rental. Pick up was 8am went quickly and smoothly, information clear. Got water in cooler. Jeep was comfortable and reliable, has GPS so useful for company to know whereabouts. Return is at 6 pm we took in at 2pm requires to wash car and fill with petrol on return.  We had plenty time to drive Schaffer Trail and needed 4 wheel drive for the road. Scenery  awesome. Excellent trip. Highly recommend this company.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words and great review. You chose Shafer Trail and that is honestly one of my favorite routes.

A must do on your must do trip to Moab

Just returned my Jeep Rubicon after a fantastic 3 day rental. Staff were amazing, giving great advice on which vehicle to hire, best trails to go on , as well as plenty of other useful tips. They went out of their way to give me the jeep on the night before rental so I could have a 4am start to see Messa Arch at sunrise, pic attached. Jeep itself was great, handled as expected and was clean and ready for action. Definitely recommend them for your off road experience in Moab

Great adventure for first times or experienced explorers!

I had an incredible experience with Canyonlands Jeep Adventures during my time in Moab, UT. Renting a Jeep from them was the highlight of my trip. With their extensive fleet of 4-door Jeep Wranglers, I was able to explore Arches and Canyonlands National Parks like never before. The rental process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing me with a trail guide to ensure I made the most of my adventure. The complimentary cooler filled with ice and water was a thoughtful touch, perfect for staying refreshed during my exploration of Southeastern Utah's backcountry. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time explorer, I highly recommend Canyonlands Jeep Adventures for an unforgettable Moab experience. Five stars all the way!

    Awesome experience!

This was a last minute addition to our trip to Moab and it was a great choice. We rented a 4x4 Jeep for the day and went to Canyonlands to drive the Shafer Trail. It was both terrifying and amazing. The Jeep performed perfectly on the switchbacks. I wish we had started earlier in the day because there are some roads in Arches that the Jeep would have been perfect for, but we didn't have enough time.

Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure cost?

    +

Prices start at $417 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 380 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure?

    +

Around 133 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Moab Jeep Rental | Self-Guided Backcountry 4x4 Adventure start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
