About this experience
Our 7-mile Scenic Float, unique only to our company, borders the southern boundary to Grand Teton National Park. Our float trip begins from the historic Snake River Ranch, one of the few working cattle ranches left in Jackson Hole, with a beautiful southern perspective of the Tetons. It's the perfect trip for those with a busy schedule of activities or young children! Just an hour or so on the water. Our boatmen do all the work, so you can relax and take it all in. Time on water is dependent on water levels.

Family Fun on the Snake
We did the 4PM drop in at Snake River Ranch. We had a private boat with 12 family members ranging from 5 yr to 70 yr. Mark was our guide and he did an amazing job! Spotted multiple bald eagles, many other birds and various wildlife while also telling us history and other information about the area. Loved every bit of this float, would highly recommend to anyone looking to get out on the river not looking to get wet or too high of a heart rate.

Highest recommendation possible!
I could not recommend the team behind Jackson Hole Whitewater more highly. They are incredible to work with - the best in Jackson. Exceptional in every way: customer service, responsiveness, safety, ongoing support, great staff. We will be using them for all activities moving forward.

Sisters Wild West Freedom Tour
Our experience with the entire team was excellent. Each member went above snd beyond to ensure our River float sas memorable. The drive to and from the river was exceptional thanks to Tyler. He stopped for us to get out of the van to take photos of a Moose mom and calf. I’ve been on more than a dozen river transfer buses and never had a driver care enough for his guest. R.J. Thank you for the greatest River float. The best guide ever. Always on the lookout to point out the wildlife we were fortunate to see on our adventure. Only downside…. the trip was too short. We did the 7 mile and wish we had chosen a longer adventure. Every staff member was welcoming and seemed to enjoy people and their job. Thank you for adding a positive experience to our dream of a lifetime vacation.

Experience means everything
What an awesome experience. It is very apparent this company has experience as everything was organized, on time, and went without a hitch. I walked to the business and, a couple minutes before the scheduled time, I was directed to a bus. I and other passengers were driven to the Snake River, outfitted with a PFD, and we boarded a raft. Tom, our driver, was polite and friendly. The passengers were separated into 2 groups and each group met their guide. Our guide, Taylor, handled a 3500 pound raft effortlessly and pointed out wildlife. After about an hour we coasted to shore and we're helped out of the raft. We got back in the bus Tom had driven to the take out spot and, the next thing I knew, the rafts had been loaded onto a trailer and we were on our way back to town. Experience means everything and it was evident from the moment I checked in, these guys knew what they were doing.

Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.
How much does Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.
Is Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 108 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson?
+
Around 38 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Grand Teton Views 7-Mile Snake River Scenic Float in Jackson start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson?
+
On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
