    To the Tetons and Back

Our trip into Grand Tetons was absolutely amazing. Our guide, Grant Bell, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly to all on board the tour. We did have some rain and heavy overcast, however, the trip was absolutely amazing. Thank you Grant for the wonderful experience. Best wishes, Elizabeth and Glen Fisher

Great Day in Teton with Jordan

A truly incredible day with Jordan. He was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. We saw all kinds of animals but the bison stampede was above and beyond. Highly recommend this adventure if you are visiting Teton National Park.

Response from the operator: Thank you Stanford! We're happy to hear that you got to see a bison stampede and had a great experience on your tour of the Grand Tetons with Jordan. We appreciate your recommendation!

Grant Bell Made Our Grand Teton Safari Unforgettable

Our safari through Grand Teton National Park was one of the highlights of our wedding/honeymoon, and that was entirely thanks to our guide, Grant Bell. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories and the history of the park that made every stop more meaningful. His passion for the Tetons and its wildlife was evident throughout the tour. What impressed us most was Grant’s expertise on the wildlife, especially the bears. He seemed to know everything about their behavior, habitats, and the individual bears that call the park home. Friendly, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does, Grant made this an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend requesting him if you have the chance.

Response from the operator: Thank you Shawn! We're glad to hear that you learned a lot and had a great time on your tour of the Grand Tetons with Grant. We appreciate your recommendation!

Best possible way to see Grand Tetons

Just finished our wildlife tour in the Tetons with our guide, Jeffrey Meehan. His extensive knowledge of the park, wildlife, local flora and more made this a highlight for our trip. There is simply no way we could have seen or learned so much on our own or with a less experienced guide. I highly recommend getting out early to get ahead of the crowds. Thanks Jeffrey! Looking forward to a return visit soon 😎

Response from the operator: Thank you Eric! We're very glad that you had a great experience on your tour of the Grand Tetons with Jeffrey. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to having you again!

Excellent experience from start to finish!

Our guide Colin was extremely knowledgeable, spent time getting to know what type of things we were interested in seeing, took us to off-the-beaten path places, was passionate about the area and his job and was very personable. He made the tour so special - including seeing hummingbirds, knowing where we could spot a grizzly and her cubs, heading down a very bumpy "road" to get the perfect photos and fantastic views of moose! My husband and I enjoyed every minute we spent with Colin and would highly recommend him and Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris.

Response from the operator: Thank you Amy! We're so glad that you got to see so many animals and had a great time on your tour of the Grand Tetons with Colin. We appreciate your recommendation!

Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.

How much does Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $305 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.

Is Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 139 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour?

    +

Around 49 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jackson?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jackson?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jackson?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
