Beautiful Scenery with Knowledgeable Guide
Our guide Jordan was very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided a delightful day showing us a variety of sites including Old Faithful, waterfalls, bison and other wildlife. He provided us a nice selection of snacks and a tasty sandwich for lunch. We had 8 people on our trip, and we all got along famously. There is some requirement about park passes. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure how this works. Apparently, as long as a certain number of people have them, it all works out. I definitely recommend checking on this beforehand. I will say that it is a long day to/from Jackson. I think that the next time I go to the area I will opt to stay in Yellowstone Park a night or two to explore and then visit surrounding towns separately.

Tour of Yellowstone
Rachael was amazing! We had the best day with her. She picked us up on time, showed us the sights in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, was very knowledgeable, and took us to places where we would see the most animals. We saw bison, elk, moose, and grizzly bears (some with babies), just to name a few. I would highly recommend her tour.

A Magical Experience
My husband and I had gone on the tour of The Grand Tetons on Friday 8/14. Our tour guide Grant was absolutely brilliant. On Saturday 8/15 we were scheduled for the tour to Yellowstone. However, we found ourselves on the tour bus with Becky,a/k/a, angel, finding out that we were going to the Grand Canyon Tetons again. I became very emotional since I had been wanting to see Yellowstone for decades. Becky turned the world upside down and was able to obtain a tour guide and bus for us. Our tour guide, Duane, was spectacular. My husband,Glen and myself can’t even begin to describe how wonderful and amazing our experience at Yellowstone was but to truly experience the kindness exhibited by Becky and Duane will remain in our hearts forever. THANK YOU 😊 PEACE AND LOVE, Elizabeth and Glen Fisher
Response from the operator: Thank you Elizabeth! We're happy to hear that your tour got sorted and you were able to go to Yellowstone. We're glad you had a wonderful experience on your tour of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone with Grant and Duane.

Corey made Yellowstone absolutely unforgettable
My husband and I had an absolutely phenomenal Yellowstone tour with Corey Stites. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, engaging, patient, and genuinely passionate about the park and its wildlife. He has an extraordinary ability to explain what we were seeing, anticipate where to look, and make every part of the day feel special. His enthusiasm was contagious, his attention to detail was exceptional, and he made us feel completely taken care of. Corey turned an already spectacular place into a truly unforgettable experience. If you have the chance to tour Yellowstone with him, do it. We cannot recommend Corey or Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris highly enough.
Response from the operator: Thank you Denisa! We're so happy that you had a fantastic experience on your tour of Yellowstone with Corey. We appreciate your recommendation!

The highlight of our trip
Putting it shortly- book this tour! We went with my family to Jackson Hole and had never been to Yellowstone. We had a variety of ages from 10 to 70 with our family. We are all saying it was the highlight of our entire trip and we are all so very glad we booked this tour. Austin H was our tour guide and he was incredible. He is the most knowledgeable guide I have ever been around. He knew everything about the science and history around Yellowstone. Most importantly he made us all feel very safe around these surroundings. We were able to see parts of Yellowstone that we never could have found on our own and we were so excited- we saw a grizzly bear, bison, swan, beavers, elk and many more animals. Seriously- book this tour and ask for Austin if you want an authentic and incredible experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We're so happy to hear that you felt safe on the tour and had a wonderful experience on your tour of Yellowstone with Austin. We appreciate your recommendation!

Why this scores 81
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.
How much does Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $345 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.
Is Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 191 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour?
+
Around 67 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Yellowstone - Guided National Park Safari Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson?
+
On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
