A Wonderful Day in Yellowstone!!!
Our day with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari s was amazing! Our guide, Irwin, picked us up promptly at our hotel and we spent a whole day together. Irwin was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. He knew the places to go and the times that it was best to visit each area so as to avoid crowds. Our favorite part of the day was when Irwin took us to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It was beyond impressive. We also loved having a picnic lunch in the shade by a beautiful river. It was lovely and so memorable. On top of all that, we learned that Irwin spent many years as a professional photographer. So we never felt that we were bothering him when we asked him to take our picture. He took so many wonderful shots of us and was so creative with his photography. He was very generous with his time and I would recommend a trip with Irwin!

Will never forget our tours with Kristina
We did a private Teton wildlife tour and Yellowstone tour with Kristina and could not say enough about what a once-in-a-lifetime experience it was on both days. We went with our 3.5 year old daughter and Kristina was kind, patient and lovely to her. She never made us feel stressed about having a toddler on the trip and instead prioritized her needs and experience. On the Teton wildlife tour we found 5 bears, deer, pronghorn, 2 moose and were in the road with hundreds of bison on either side. It was amazing. For our Yellowstone tour, she planned the whole day with such detail that it went off in perfect harmony (which says a lot given our toddler). It was one of the most magical days of our lives and we are so thankful that Kristina was our guide because it made the day so special for us. On both tours we learned so much about the geology, history and wildlife we were seeing. She made sure we were always comfortable and able to use bathrooms, which makes a big difference when you’re in a hot park and bathrooms are hard to come by. Definitely request her if you have children because she has such a child-friendly and lovely nature. To think we almost cancelled our trip because we thought bringing a 3.5 year old to two national parks might be a lot. Kristina made it a trip we will never forget!

The Gift that will keep Giving
On Saturday morning 8/14 we boarded the tour bus with our guide Becky a/k/a Angel. After departing, on our way to pick up other passengers he came to find out that we were headed to the grand Tetons. We had already done that tour the day prior, and to go on the Yellowstone tour. However, somehow or another scheduling was incorrect. When I was informed that we were not going to Yellowstone, I hate to admit it, but I became extremely emotional, just not something I normally do. Our Guide Becky jumped through hoops and pulled apparently many of strings. It was to our great pleasure that we informed that we would be getting on another shuttle and definitely going to Yellowstone. Duane picked us up, much to his surprise since it was his scheduled day off, now he was taking us on the tour of what I considered “a lifetime”. There are no words to describe how grateful my husband Glen and I are for this true act of kindness. This situation totally surpasses any kind of customer service that we have ever experienced. We will remember this act of kindness for ever. Furthermore, Duane wad an extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, educated and well, certainly entertaining. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Warm regards, Elizabeth and Glen Fisher

Yellowstone Safari Day Tour
Jeffrey was an amazing guide! He was very efficient in getting us to all the amazing spots in the park! Also, he was very knowledgeable telling us all the interesting facts! We had the best time and highly recommend Jeffrey for your tour. Without him, we would not have known or gotten to see some of the best attractions in Yellowstone! He was so nice, always quick to answer our questions, and give us what we needed! Jeffrey knows so much about the area and the parks, and we learned to much from him. We thank him for making our day trip to Yellowstone amazing! In a day, it is hard to see everything, but Jeffrey navigated the park making sure we saw many of the great attractions. Again, we highly recommend booking with him for your trip! You will not regret it!
Response from the operator: Thank you Rachel! We're happy to hear that you got to learn about the park and had a great time on your tour of Yellowstone with Jeffrey. We appreciate your recommendation!

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.
How much does Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $598 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.
Is Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 137 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour?
+
Around 48 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Yellowstone Private National Park Safari Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson?
+
On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
