We have successfully completed our trek to Poon Hill in the rainy season and it has been absolutely pleasant. The hike has taken us 5 days and thanks to Ramhari we have seen one of the most beautiful views of Annapurna South and Fishtail. His kindness, humility and wisdom in these ranges have taught me a lot not only about the mountains but also about the nepali culture. I would reccomend Ram as an expert in trekking guiding to all that desire to walk peacefully over the trekking paths of Himalayas. The company Himalayan Trekking Path has been efficiently working in my needs not only in trekking but also in photography.
Response from the operator: Dear Gualbia Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience trekking to Poon Hill with us during the rainy season! We’re thrilled to hear that your journey was pleasant and memorable, despite the seasonal challenges. Ramhari will be especially grateful for your kind words—his deep knowledge of the Himalayas and Nepali culture truly make him an invaluable guide. We’re so glad his presence enriched your journey both in nature and in spirit. It’s also heartening to hear that our team at Himalayan Trekking Path could support your needs, especially with trekking and photography—two passions we’re always happy to help bring together. Thank you once again for your trust and recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the Himalayas someday soon! Warm regards, The Himalayan Trekking Path Team

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek
I did the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek (8 days) with Himalayan Trekking Path in early April 2025 and had a fantastic experience. Everything was well-organized from start to finish. The airport pickup and drop-off were punctual, and the itinerary matched exactly what was described on their website. The trek itself was beautiful, even with a bit of mist and rain, and the route was thoughtfully planned. What really stood out was the team. My guide was knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive—I felt very well looked after the entire time. The porter was also excellent: friendly, reliable, and hardworking. The only small issue was with the hotel in Kathmandu (Hotel Chhimeki). While the staff were friendly and the stay was comfortable, the hotel appeared to close in the evening, making it difficult if you needed to go out or return late. Overall, I had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend Himalayan Trekking Path. If I return to Nepal, I would definitely choose to trek with them again!
Response from the operator: Dear Esalegas Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us — we’re thrilled to hear you had a fantastic Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Himalayan Trekking Path! It’s wonderful to know that everything went smoothly from airport pickup to the final day of your journey, and that the itinerary met your expectations. The Ghorepani Poon Hill trail is a favorite for many of our trekkers, and even with some mist and rain, it truly has its own unique charm. We’re especially grateful for your kind words about our team. Our guides and porters work hard to ensure every guest feels safe, cared for, and supported — and it means the world to us that you felt so well looked after throughout your adventure. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the hotel in Kathmandu. Your input helps us continue to improve every aspect of our service, and we’ll be sure to look into this to enhance our guests’ experiences in the future. Thank you once again for choosing Himalayan Trekking Path. It was a pleasure to be part of your journey, and we would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back for another adventure in the Himalayas! Warm regards, Ramhari Neupane WhatApps:+977-9849683092

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days cost?
+
Prices start at $600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ghorepani Poon Hill Treks: 6 Nights /7 days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
