A Must do trip!
We were a group of 5. What a very pleasant experience, driver picked us up on time at our Istanbul Hotel, and drove us to Gallipoli Battlefield in a Mercedes Benz Van. There we mnet our guide Abdurrahim, who was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He offered us all the time we wanted as he took us to several sites around the battlefield. The history lesson he gave us was excellent and helped us to understand all points of view about and after the battle. He took us to lunch at a local outdoor restaurant/cafe with excellent food. We all really hated to depart at the end of the day but we did need to get back to Istanbul. I would recommend this tour and the guide to everyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're delighted to hear that your group had such an enjoyable day exploring Gallipoli. It's wonderful to know that everything, from your comfortable transfer to the guided tour, met your expectations. Abdurrahim will be especially pleased to hear your kind words. His passion for Gallipoli's history and his balanced, informative approach are qualities we're very proud of, and we're glad they helped make the experience so meaningful for your group. Thank you for your recommendation. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back on another adventure in Turkey in the future! Safe travels!

Once in a lifetime day trip
We recently had the most incredible day tour from Istanbul to Gallipoli, and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Our guide, Ömer Faruk, was absolutely outstanding — so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history of the area. He gave us time to really take everything in at each site, which made the experience feel personal and meaningful rather than rushed. A real highlight was visiting Anzac Cove as Kiwis — a very moving and special moment — along with learning more about both the ANZAC and Turkish perspectives of the campaign. It added so much depth and understanding to the day. Our driver, Cengiz, was also excellent — safe, professional, and made the journey comfortable and easy from start to finish. A truly memorable and special experience we will never forget.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear that your day tour from Istanbul to Gallipoli was such a memorable experience. It means a great deal to know that Ömer Faruk’s knowledge, passion, and thoughtful guiding helped make the day feel so meaningful and unhurried. We are especially pleased that visiting Anzac Cove was such a special moment for you, and that the tour offered valuable insight into both the ANZAC and Turkish perspectives. We are also very glad to hear your kind words about Cengiz and the comfortable, safe journey he provided throughout the day. Thank you again for choosing Fez Travel. We greatly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another memorable journey in Turkey.

Immerse yourself in Gallipoli Historic Experience
We travelled with Omer Faruk - Tour Guide and Murat - Driver to Gallipoli for a day tour. Very well organised, with breakfast and lunch stops along the way. Omer's knowledge, historic information of what took place and when in this area was detailed, created a respectful and informative commentary throughout the site. We were impressed with the experience provided and felt in good hands to sit back and immerse ourselves in the journey. Marut was a skillful driver, we felt safe and well looked after. Highly recommend this tour and historic experience. Thank you

Exceptionally moving...a must do for Australian travellers
Visiting Gallipoli and learning first hand about the battles and the conditions faced by both the ANZACS and the Turks was Avery memorable and moving experience. Our guide, Burak was very well informed and often challenged our assumed knowledge of events. He was keen to share his perspective which was always supported by various photos and letters written by the commanding forces at the time.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul cost?
+
Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul take?
+
Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 150 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul?
+
Around 53 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gallipoli Day Trip from Istanbul start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
