Go private with Fez - MUCH better than the group tours!
Absolutely fantastic - Charlie did an excellent job with our private tour, tailoring it to our needs (we had a short timeframe) and providing engaging and informative information on the various sites we visited, giving us time for photos and to look around without it ever feeling rushed. Would absolutely recommend Fez Travel for private tours as we didn't want to go with a busload of other people. Totally worth the (very reasonable) cost.
Response from the operator: We are delighted to hear that your private tour was an excellent experience. It is wonderful to know that our guide expertly tailored the itinerary to your needs (especially given your short timeframe) and provided engaging, informative details without ever making the experience feel rushed. We are thrilled you had ample time for photos and exploration! Your feedback perfectly reinforces the value of our private tours: offering a personalized, seamless experience without the crowds. We are so pleased you found the cost very reasonable and that you would "absolutely recommend" Fez Travel. We hope to welcome you back for another expertly guided private adventure soon!

Enlightening Gallipoli Guided Tour
Having chosen to visit Gallipoli, we contacted Crowded House Tours and asked them to arrange a private tour for us. From the moment we contacted them and communicated with Ramazan Altuntas, every step was professional and always communicated clearly. Ramazan arranged for Yokan to be our guide. Yokan met us at our Cannakele hotel, and we walked to the ferry to Kilitbahir. On arrival, we were met by our driver Ilhan, who drove us around the Peninsula. Yokan was such an informative and interesting guide - he brought every aspect of the battles and living conditions to life. His vast knowledge of dates was quite astonishing. We cannot recommend Crowded House Tours and Yokan and Ilhan enough.

Fulfilling Turkish experience- a MUST DO for all Australians.
I had been really disappointed in Istanbul, I felt frightened and abused by the aggressive store keepers and children… and then I met Omar. He picked me up, on time and had a very calm manner about him. He put me at ease immediately . He answered every question I asked and chose an excellent place for breakfast. He ate with me and the driver (I’m so sorry I have forgotten his name) and we talked together. Both men were kind, modest and excellent communicators. The destination was several hours from my hotel, but there was no time to be awkward. This tour changed my opinion of Turkey. Actually. I want to revisit it, but skip Istanbul and focus on other areas. Gallipoli was confronting… the areas devoted to AnZACS practically deserted, but the Turkish statues were crowded with bus loads of people. I liked hearing the story from a Turkish perspective. Omar gave the battles a grace and humanity that sometimes we forget about in war. It was a very long day, and on the return trip home I rested a little and was allowed to call the breaks I needed. We ate gozleme for lunch and drank the yoghurt water. It seemed to be a genuine Turkish experience, and one I will never forget! Thankyou Omar, and I know you will find your dreams one day!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience. We’re so glad to hear that Omar was able to provide you with the comfort and support you needed during your time in Turkey. It’s wonderful that he helped change your perspective and made your tour to Gallipoli a meaningful and genuine experience. We appreciate your insights into both the historical significance and the personal connections made during the trip. It’s great to know you enjoyed the local cuisine and felt truly immersed in Turkish culture. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back to explore more of Turkey’s beautiful regions in the future!

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gallipoli Private Guided Tour from Canakkale Port start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
