    Best Foody tour ever!

Our guide Sara, was friendly and knowledgeable. We started at a pastry shop, followed by a cheese shop, then coffee. We finished at a wine shop, where a wonderful, very large platter of meats and cheeses was provided to each member of our party. We also had 2 wine samples. Best tour ever!

    Change food choices

We were with 4 couples. We loved our tour guide. She couldn’t have been nicer but the food sample choices were horrible. Very fishy and we all like fish. Bacalar? Terrible. Change the food and it would be great. You got to Italy you want some meat and pasta.

Response from the operator: Ciao Rosario on our foody tour we don’t offer any fish and we didn’t have you as our guest. You wrote a bad review on the wrong page! Next time make sure you are on the right page :)

Disappointed I did not meet Nonna

Instructions according to my ticket, I would be picked up at my hotel San Giorgio at9:30. I waited till almost 10 and no Nonna. I left messages at the Rome # 393286117038 around 10 am. Waited about 30 minutes to receive a response. Nothing, no messages after I walked around Civitavecchia. My friends have used Trip Advisor and encouraged me. I am so disappointed. I was looking forward to this one and only tour for Civitavecchia. I am certainly not impressed. I did receive a meesly$20 refund for a Tour that I booked in good faith for almost $100

Response from the operator: Dear customer we are so sorry to hear that from you also because we gave to you the refund. The tour starts from a meeting point wich is at the port and you cannot customize your tour by yourself! The real problem is that you didn’t understand the information about the meeting place . It is definitely your fault! The nonna ( Who os a guide actually) did the tour as it was scheduled and all the guests were very happy!

    Awesome tour guides

We had a wonderful time with Sara for the Vatican tour and with Silvia for Ancient Rome. They had all the tips and tricks to get tickets ahead of time, beat the lines, and maximize our experience. We loved having a private tour guide and especially appreciated getting great photos.

    Great Food Tour

As the 5 of us had been to Rome several times we opted for Sara’s food tour of Civitavecchia. It was great. We visited a bakery, a pork store, an espresso bar, the market including fish and a fabulous wine bar where we were served a ginormous platter of Italian specialties and great wines. Sara knew all of the vendors and explained all the food to us. She even sent us some recipes. She was a great find and we would definitely recommend this tour.

Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Bracciano.

How much does Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port) cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Bracciano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port) take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Bracciano is not rushed.

Is Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Bracciano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port)?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Bracciano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Bracciano and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Foody Tour with Nonna in Civitavecchia (port) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Bracciano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lake Bracciano?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lake Bracciano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Civitavecchia Shore Excursion: Best of Rome Private Tour, Food Tasty and History Tour in Civitavecchia, VIP Tour of Rome (3/5/8hrs) Colosseum & Vatican Museums. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lake Bracciano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lake Bracciano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
