An excellent day with a knowledgeable driver
Our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable. His driving skills were outstanding. He took us to some of the main sights and a lovely cafe and restaurant which we would not have found by ourselves. He was punctual and very polite.

The best way to see all of the highlights of Rome!
We had a great experience with Rome in Limo! They were recommended to us by some coworkers and it was the only way we were able to see everything we wanted to see during our one day in port. They were extremely helpful in helping us organize Vatican tickets too. We weould highly recommend!

A perfect day in Rome!
My friend and I had an exceptional day tour of Rome with our guide Lorenzo. Lorenzo was fantastic! He was waiting for us at the Civitavecchia port and then our adventure began. We shared our scheduled times at the Colosseum and The Vatican plus our desire to have pizza and gelato and he immediately suggested how and what we would see for the day. First stop in Rome, a coffee and chance to use the restroom. Then we were off to see all the landmark stops and were given a meeting place and time that we needed to return. We exchanged numbers on What’s App so anytime we were running late we reached out and he met us exactly at the new time. We learned so much from Lorenzo about Rome and its history but also got his perspective on how the Romans live today. His English was perfect, he had a wonderful sense of humor , he was incredibly knowledgeable and the experience was just fantastic. It was also such a relief to get into an air conditioned SUV after visiting a site in the 95+ degree weather. We ended our day with Lorenzo dropping us offat our hotel by the FCO airport. I highly recommend RomeinLimo and suggest that you ask for Lorenzo to be your guide.

Booking with Jany was super easy and professional! We were picked up at our cruise port and taken to Rome by Nikola ( the most amazing driver EVER)!!! He took us to all the places we wanted to go, and suggested an incredible lunch place for us that everyone loved!! I cannot recommend this tour enough! AMAZING 5 star!!!

Rome in Limo is an excellent company
I am a repeat customer- after 13 years I returned to Italy. My husband and I booked with Jany with confidence because of our incredible experience with Rome in Limo in the past. For this trip, we were picked up at the Port of Civitavecchia after a cruise and brought to Rome for a post-cruise stay. Our driver, Lorenzo, was prompt, courteous, informative, friendly, accommodating, and very flexible to our needs. We also appreciated his excellent command of the English language since our Italian is not very good! The vehicle was spacious (a Mercedes van) and using a private professional car and driver allows the vehicle to drive in certain restricted places. I highly recommend Rome in Limo and I will return in the future.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Bracciano.
How much does Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver cost?
+
Prices start at $843 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Bracciano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Bracciano is not rushed.
Is Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 127 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Bracciano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver?
+
Around 44 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Bracciano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Bracciano and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Shore Excursions to Rome from Civitavecchia Cruise Port with Driver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Bracciano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Bracciano?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Bracciano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Civitavecchia Shore Excursion: Best of Rome Private Tour, Food Tasty and History Tour in Civitavecchia, VIP Tour of Rome (3/5/8hrs) Colosseum & Vatican Museums. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Bracciano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Bracciano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
