    The Best fishing in Tulum

Fantastic fishing trip in Tulum! The captain and crew were friendly, experienced, and worked hard to help us catch fish. The boat was comfortable, the ocean views were beautiful, and the whole experience was fun and relaxing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, this is a great way to enjoy the Caribbean. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por su mensaje, lo valoramos muchísimo y nos llena de alegría saber que ha sido de su agrado. Esperamos poder atenderlo nuevamente en una oportunidad futura.

    Amazing!

This was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! Toto & his crew were attentive, kind & showed me everything I needed to know. Bring sunblock & a hat and keep your things in a dry bag.

Response from the operator: ¡Qué increíble fue esta experiencia de pesca contigo, la verdad es que lo disfrutamos muchísimo. Amamos lo que hacemos y compartirlo con nuestros visitantes es nuestra pasión.

    My first fishing

It was my first time fishing and it is a wonderful experience, contact with the sea and I was able to bring out a marlin fish with good advice from the staff, super personalized attention and it is an experience that I would definitely repeat again, in the end a rich ceviche, certainly one of the best experiences 🤗🤗

    Very cool

Very cool experience. Caught Barracuda and tuna:) Would recomend to all, although it was a bit disapointing that we were’nt offered ceviche that should have been included.

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por su mensaje y calificacion. La pesca es nuestra pasión. Lamentamos mucho que al final no hubiéramos podido preparar el ceviche. Tuvimos un pequeño retraso con los ingredientes. Lo siento mucho..

So much fun for the entire family

Last minute we decided that the 6 of us want to make a fishing trip together. I wrote the team a whatsapp and they were able to host us for the next day. For a extra price we were able to include beer as well. The trip was great fun and we caught 4 fish in total. The team was super welcoming and friendly. After the trip we even got some goPro videos. Which was a nice add on. Shout out to the entire team. It was a lovely experience.

Response from the operator: Me alegra muchísimo que lo hayan disfrutado tanto como nosotros. El caribe es un excelente lugar para pescar. Espero verlos pronto nuevamente.

Fishing in Tulum: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Fishing in Tulum cost?

    +

Prices start at $529 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fishing in Tulum take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Fishing in Tulum worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fishing in Tulum?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fishing in Tulum suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fishing in Tulum?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fishing in Tulum start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
