Excellent service provider for 4 country West Africa trip

Very professional outfit. Alex was driver/guide with Confidence joining last two days. They provide transportation and associated logistics navigating through the visa and border crossing formalities along with negotiating fees for services with local places as well as recommendations on lodging. They also answer questions on history and culture, which was the focus of my trip to supplement local attraction guides. Tour was customized to suit my interests. Driving through these countries especially Lagos was challenging as road conditions and traffic patterns were not always good. I was very pleased with the services, which allowed me to see many sights at a good value proposition. I can’t imagine doing this trip without the services provided by this company and heartedly recommend their servicesx

Low budget and low quality

This was a bad call and almost a total disaster. Note that the hotels included in the package are listed as 3 star but more 1 and 2 star. I opted to book my own hotels at my own cost in exchange for more days added to the tour to try recuperate my hotel fees as a refund was not an option. The vehicles used were also low quality and I had 2 of them break down with me in it that was very scary and frustrating. The tour guides used were great but the operator left much to be desired and I was extremely disappointed. There was also a misunderstanding as to airport drop off which was clearly listed on Viator. The lack of communication, value for money spent was not worth it.

I will mention some of the hotels that we normally use for the this tour which was suggested to you and which over 68 persons and more have used without calling them a 1 star hotel or 2 star hotel. You refused to use the hotel. Hotel marriella ouidah is listed as a 3 star hotel, hotel Cassa del papa ouidah, hotel Koko palm Ghana is also a 3 star hotel, Asantewa hotel kumasi, royal elmount hotel in Elmina is also a 3 star hotel. Hotel ivy emerald Ikeja gra is a 3 star hotel. So I have been wondering where you searched and saw that these hotels are 1 or 2 star hotels. Also, it's imperative to note that we uses a pointiac vibe and Toyota Camry mussle 2010 model on this trip with air-condition. The vibe broke down in Kumasi and was fixed and your trip didn't end or stop. so I am wondering why you called the cars low quality. Also the delay going to Kumasi, you observed that the road is terribly bad fraught with lots of traffic congestion. Africa has it problems so these issues do come up on trips and we didn't allow it to end your tour abruptly. Airport drop off was listed for the lasted day of the trip and which happened that on the last day of the tour you decided to go to your hotel because you had other activities for the next two days in Lagos so we ended our trip by dropping you off at the hotel of your choice. Two days later you started asking for airport drop off meanwhile we had ended the trip two days ago. So, how did we fail you. You could have asked for an 11 days trip rather. Well, travelling is an experience and meeting people like you is also and experience for us which make us learn and do better. We do hope to get a 2025 or 2026 car model when next you decide to visit. Thanks.

Brilliant tour

I had an excellent trip with Confidence and his team travelling from Lagos to Accra. I had explored options online beforehand and settled on Confidence due to his responsive communication, appropriate tour options and good pricing. We communicated in advance via WhatsApp and confirmed plans, prices and dates. Confidence also sent me a copy of his passport and an invite letter to use for my Nigerian evisa. On arrival Confidence picked me up and we spent the next week or so exploring the sights, flavours and sounds of Lagos, Benin, Togo and Accra. The tour evolved a bit as we went and Confidence tweaked things to respond to external factors and my specific interests which was great. Confidence was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. His approach at border crossings also helped to make life a lot easier. Along the way we had a couple of other guides join to provide additional support and additional local insights. I’d certainly recommend confidence as a guide and as an agent to sort out your travel.

Best tour guide experience for West Africa

Confidence was the tour leader on my visit in west Africa and I couldn’t be happier with his leadership and work ethic. Pick up was always on time, clean car, and very professional. He was very patient with everyone in the group and did his best to accommodate everyone. Confidence knows the locals very well and has good relationships with them. He speaks different languages which made everything super easy. I even had some issues with my Nigerian visa, and he was able to help me sort it out. If you are planning on visiting west Africa, he is the best guide you can get yourself. You will not regret it. Whether it’s a solo trip or a group trip, you’ll be in good hands
