Diverse day trip out of Accra
We visited many places on the tour, driving out of Accra was a stimulating experience in and of itself! All admission and guide fees were included. Our guide was friendly, and was keen to talk about the different cultural components of Ghana when we asked him. He was very flexible with the plans. Due to traffic, sometimes the commute was longer than expected, which I don’t mind as it was very interesting to chat and experience. However you may not want to make too many plans in the evening, just in case!

Amazing
I would highly recommend this tour company in general for any tour. This was my first time in Africa and I did not know what to expect but our guide became family. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave us space to experience at our own pace. This particular tour was based in nature. We interacted with the locals, visited wonders of nature, and visited the Eastern region of Ghana. We also had amazing food at a local hotel. The distance from Accra was about two hours so this is perfect if you want a closer tour. To Mr. T, Medaase.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt and wonderful review. We’re truly delighted to hear that your first experience in Africa was such a memorable one and that Mr. T made you feel like family. We’ll definitely share your kind words with him. It’s great to know that you enjoyed connecting with the local community, exploring the natural wonders of Ghana’s Eastern Region, and experiencing the local food. We’re also happy that the distance from Accra made this tour a convenient option for you. Thank you for recommending Expedition-Go Tours and for trusting us with your first African adventure. We hope to welcome you back to Ghana again in the future. **Medaase!** 🙏🏾

Awesome Tour !!!
This is definitely worth booking. Our tour guide, Kwame and our driver, Elvis were an amazing duo. We were warmly greeted and provided water on pick up. As we were en route, they pointed out significant sights and presented historical references. They even went above and beyond by offering to take group photos. The restaurant that we stopped at for lunch provided delicious meal and beverage choices. I liked that we placed our order at the restaurant early so that our food was served hot and promptly. I would definitely take this tour again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that you had such a great experience with Kwame and Elvis. We'll be sure to share your kind words with them—they'll be thrilled to know they made your tour so enjoyable. It's great to hear that you appreciated the historical insights, the warm welcome, the photo stops, and the lunch arrangements. We always strive to make every tour memorable, and we're so happy we could do that for you. Thank you for choosing Expedition-Go Tours. From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Accra.
How much does From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Accra usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Accra is not rushed.
Is From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 125 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Accra, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour?
+
Around 44 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Accra can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Accra and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Accra: Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens & Cocoa Farm Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Accra within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Accra?
+
On Outty we rank every Accra experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle & Kakum National Park Day Tour, Experience the Beauty, History and the Culture Of Accra in a Day, Accra Guided City Tour Cultural and Historical Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Accra?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Accra?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
