I think the best trekking agency in Nepal

We have known the founder of the agency, Bhogwat, since 2013, when we first came to Nepal, and we have approached him several times since. Service at the highest level, help with everything from paperwork to household trivia. Honest, decent and very punctual!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Tatania, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Company. We are so pleased with your positive response. Besides our services and hospitality. Your Precious words encourage us to provide better service in the Future. We are very sure that you will definitely visit this beautiful country next time.

Everest base camp over Cho La pass

If you want to get to everest base camp and not walk along endless lines of tourists, Gokyo valley with Cho La pass is the best choice to visit Everest base camp (EBC). Remember that about half of peaple who are exposed to that kind of altittude for the first time will have bigger problems while accending, so make sure you plan an extra few days for rest at higher altitude while planning the trip. The views and nature are simply unforgeting though. Still, at times, this adventure can be a bit of a struggle since the altitude is an acute shock for your body and in my case, I realized the trek was much harder than I expected. All in all, it is a 'must see' for every advanturer.

Response from the operator: Dear Anej Kebric, Namaste and warm greetings from Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours. Thank you so much for your lovely words. With regards Bhagwat Simkhada

Trekking

I did EBC trekking + Chola Pass. Bhagwat (owner) came to receive me at the airport and took me back every time at the airport! I had a guide just for me throughout the trekking as well as the air tickets. Bhagwat is very concerned with the well-being of the client. In only 3 days, I had to divide accommodation. But this is common practice near Everest, where accommodation is rare and for no one to stay without a roof, accommodate with strangers. I recommend!!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Rubica, Namaste and warm greetings from Himalayan Adventure treks tours. Thank you for your such a lovely words. It was a great time with you in Nepal. Sorry about the accommodation in mountain.some times due to many tourist its happened. Any way thank you so much for being my respected guest. It was my honor to provide you Trekking, Bhutan, Tibet and many other tours in Nepal. Hope to see you next time. With Regards Bhagwat Simkhada

How much does Everest Chola Pass Trek-17 Days cost?

How long does Everest Chola Pass Trek-17 Days take?

+

Plan for about 408 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Everest Chola Pass Trek-17 Days worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Everest Chola Pass Trek-17 Days suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 408-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Everest Chola Pass Trek-17 Days?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 408-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Everest Chola Pass Trek-17 Days start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
