5. “Highly Recommended: Trekking with Sonam from Trekking Planner”
Awhile ago, I had the privilege of trekking with Sonam Jangbu Sherpa from Trekking Planner. He was a perfect guide for me. From the start, Sonam was professional, nice and compassionate, and well versed with the area. His experience in the mountains has been useful for me in so many ways, and I felt secure and taken care of at all times. What stood out the most was Sonam’s friendliness and down to earth personality. He made the trek smooth and organized while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere. He gave a lot of local stories, culture, and assisted in checking the group's pace. The assistance from Trekking Planner as a company was also on point — their support regarding logistics, accommodation, and permits was effortless and reduced stress during the trip. I strongly recommend planning a trek in Nepal with Sonam Jangbu Sherpa and the team at Trekking Planner. The support I was given made the trek unforgettable.

Peace and calm in the mountains, combined with the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.
It was one of the best trips I have ever been on. I initially travelled with another trekker and his guide, before they branched off a Tengboche. However, it was then just the three of us, including the yoga teacher. My guide and porter was Kiran, who is a lovely young man, who was always ready to help and always had an easy smile. We had some lovely chats about nature and how life should be. Seeing Everest for the first time was magical and Kiran pointed out all the other mountains, although I can’t remember all their names. We were lucky enough to do yoga in the monasteries in Tengboche and Khumjung, which were truly special. Before leaving for the mountains I also had a guided tour of the temples in Kathmandu and also had a welcome and farewell meal. Overall I would recommend using Trekking Planner, as they are quick to respond and are always happy to help. My only advice would be to add on maybe 1-2 extra days after a trip, just incase there are flight delays from Lukla. Nepal is a wonderful country.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt recount of your trek! It’s incredible to hear that your trip was such a magical and enriching experience. Trekking through stunning landscapes, seeing Everest for the first time, and engaging in yoga at monasteries in Tengboche and Khumjung must have created moments to treasure forever. A special shoutout to Kiran for his warmth, helpful nature, and the joyful conversations you shared—it’s guides like him that elevate the trekking experience to a whole new level. The guided tour of Kathmandu's temples, coupled with the welcome and farewell meals, sounds like the perfect way to begin and conclude your adventure. Your recommendation for Trekking Planner and the thoughtful tip about leaving extra days for possible flight delays are greatly appreciated. Nepal indeed is a mesmerizing country, and we hope it continues to hold a special place in your heart. Thank you for your service😊
I'm very glad i chose Nepal Trekking Planner. Things were organised to the smallest details, tailored to my needs. My emails and messages were answered in the matter of minutes after sending them out. All the querries, no matter how small. I was picked up on the day one, brought to the hotel, always asked if things were going well. I felt really cared for in this journey and considering that i went as a solo traveller, it gave me an extra feeling of safety. In the trek i was also given options to choose: how i wanted to come back from Ramicchap, when i got sick because of the altitude i was asked what i preferred (to be rescued or to go back with the guide). I felt that in this trip everything happened as i wanted, and the Organizer just made it happen according to my wishes. The tea houses where i stayed were standard, all amenities were there. I especially liked the Moonlight Lodge in Namche (best view and most delicious food) I'm grateful for a good guide Anil, who supported me in all the occasions: when i was struggling to climb, when i felt sick or was literally holding my hand when crossing some suspension bridges because i was scared (some of them were so high!!). I also liked a lot to visit Khumjung village and got to meet a real life Sherpa😁 all thanks to Anil! The trek itself was very challenging and it is not for a faint hearted, but the feeling of being supported and guided so well, made it happen! I could not have made the better choice than coming for a trek with Nepal Trekking Planner. Not only would i do it all again, but i would strongly recommend it to everyone else as well.

Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $1,699 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days take?
+
Plan for about 360 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 360-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 360-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days?
+
Included: Local guide; National Park fees; All taxes, fees and handling charges; Lunch; and Dinner. Not included: Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase); and Drinks. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 2 listed pickup locations in and around Kathmandu. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek - 15 Days wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
