PERFECT TOUR !
I recently completed the trek to Namche and Dhampus Phedi with Marvel Treks, and I am very happy with their service throughout the journey. The team was professional, friendly, and always helpful from the beginning until the end of the trip. Everything was well organized, including transportation, accommodation, and trekking arrangements. The guides were experienced, caring, and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe during the trek. Their knowledge about the mountains and local culture made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly had a wonderful trekking experience with Marvel Treks and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. Thank you to the entire Marvel Treks team for making my trip so memorable!

An amazing and memorable Highland Expeditions trek.
An amazing 20 day trip, fulfilling a life-long dream, with Highland Expeditions. The kindness, care and support given throughout from the Highland Expeditions team, from Passang’s administration, Phunuru and Santosh’s guidance, the heavy lifting from our awesome porters (Sunil, Randip, Himal and Sandip), and other help from Dawa and others in the HE team, was exemplary. Highland Expeditions offers a unique trekking experience, being able to sleep overnight at Everest Base Camp, which was definitely a highlight. Although our group of six was a disparate mix in terms of age and trekking experience and/or aspirations, we quickly became friends and shared many laughs together while making life long memories on this incredible trip.

Experience Everest Base Camp at Marbertrex
I recently completed an Everest Base Camp trek on a Marvel Trex tour. From start to finish, it was a really great experience. The whole tour was well planned and the service was at the highest level. I am especially grateful to my guide Udip Ramsal. He was incredibly supportive during the trek. Knowledgeable, helpful and always attentive to our needs, they ensured our safety and comfort and made sure we truly enjoyed every moment of our journey. I would also like to thank my manager, Asim. Thanks to his excellent coordination and support, everything went smoothly and his professionalism contributed greatly to the overall success of the tour. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Marvel Trex is highly recommended for anyone planning an Everest Base Camp trek or adventure tour in Nepal.

Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass cost?
+
Prices start at $800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Everest Base Camp Trek Via Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass?

Not included: International airfare; Nepal visa fee on arrival; Lunch & dinner in Kathmandu; and Personal trekking gear (boots, jacket, poles, etc.) (you can rent in Kathmandu)). +
The guide will be holding sign with your name on it. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
