Amazing Everest Base Camp Experience
We booked the trip just two weeks before our flight, with very little knowledge about the trek. Mr. Bishnu and his team were incredibly hospitable from the start. A special thanks to Mr. Raaz, our guide, who picked us up from the airport and stayed by our side the entire journey. He supported us all the way to Everest Base Camp and handled every challenge with calm professionalism. When we experienced altitude sickness, he quickly arranged a helicopter and made sure we were safe. Great company, amazing guide, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and wonderful view
It was an amazing trip tbh I loved it so much. The trek itself was a wonder with those feeling breathtaking views. I really loved my guide as he was an amazing person and a professional in his work. the porter was so cute and humble. Another thing that I liked about this company is that they were so quick with responses and they assisted me in every aspect weather it was during the trek or was for my stay in Nepal even after I finished my trek. I hope to get to travel with this company next September. Love the service. Thank you

Everest Base Camp trek - Nepal
Had an unforgettable time on the Everest Base Camp trek with this particular company! Everything was arranged so well from airport pickup to the trek itself. The team was professional, caring, and always made sure I was comfortable at every step. Our guide was knowledgeable and kept the group motivated, even during the tougher days. The scenery along the trail was beyond words, and reaching base camp felt like a huge achievement. Big thanks to the whole team for such a smooth and amazing experience!

EBC trek - December
Had an amazing experience with Base camp trip pvt ltd. The service was excellent—everyone was so helpful and attentive. They're good in details, ensuring that everything went smoothly and our journey was enjoyable. I did the EBC trek on december, which was my second trek in Nepal, and it couldn’t have been better. The entire team was incredibly supportive and kept our spirits high throughout the trek. A special thanks to Lina and Ashok for organizing the trip.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everest Base Camp Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Everest Base Camp Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everest Base Camp Trek take?
+
Plan for about 360 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Everest Base Camp Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everest Base Camp Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 360-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp Trek?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 360-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everest Base Camp Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
