This tour highlighted what we wanted to do and see more of whilst in Valencia. Well worth the money!
My wife, 13 year old daughter and I did a cultural and food/wine tour with Sara in Valencia. It was a small group, which was a benefit, however our tour guide Sara really made the difference. The actual food and wine experience was also exceptional! Of all the tours like this I’ve done in recent years, this was the best, thank you!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Alan! What a lovely review to read. We're thrilled the small group format and Sara's guiding made such a difference, and that the food and wine experience stood out too. Being called the best tour of its kind means a lot to us — we'll make sure Sara hears it! Hope to welcome you and your family back to Valencia soon.

Great tour guide in Valencia!
Sara was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour! Valencia is amazing! Sara shows how proud she is to live here.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We're delighted Sara's knowledge and evident pride in her city made for such a great tour. We really appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Valencia soon!

It was ok
Tour guide needs earplugs system for all to use. The city is loud and busy. It was not easy understanding her.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We're sorry to hear the street noise made it difficult to hear our guide clearly — we understand how frustrating that can be, especially in Valencia's busier areas. We take this seriously and are looking into improving our audio equipment for all guests. We'd really appreciate the chance to make this right; please feel free to contact us directly. Thank you again for letting us know.

Don't waste your money!
Literally the worst tour ever. He said nothing interesting, showed us the most basic of sites and we left the tour early. I decided I could show my friends more myself. He totally skipped the Serrano Tower, Borja Palace, Generalitat, Plaza de Manises, Mercat, all neighborhoods. If you want to see Ajuntamiento and the cathedral though, it seems those are the only stops on this tour. It was a complete joke, can't believe I paid for 4 people to do this. You can learn more doing a GPT on your search and reading more than two sentences. No uniqueness, no interesting storytelling, no cool spots to show. Total waste. And to think this had great reviews, a total joke! Don't waste your money. We were all disappointed and left early.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback in such detail. We're genuinely sorry to hear the tour didn't meet your expectations and that you felt it lacked depth and storytelling, and that key spots like the Serrano Towers, Borgia Palace, the Generalitat, Plaza de Manises and the Mercat weren't included — that's not consistent with the route or standard our guides are trained to deliver. We take this seriously and are following up directly with the guide involved to understand what happened. We'd really appreciate the opportunity to look into your booking specifically; please feel free to contact us directly with your booking details so we can address this properly. We're sorry this wasn't the experience of Valencia you and your friends deserved.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.
How much does Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites cost?
+
Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.
Is Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 43 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Essential Valencia and its World Heritage sites start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Valencia?
+
On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Valencia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Valencia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
