A Most Enjoyable Transfer!
A great way to see the countryside! The rolling hills are reminiscent of Tuscany or even the California Coastal range. Ricardo was on time, communicated well and proved to be an accomplished world traveler and able to provide many unique perspectives on our short one hour drive. The door-to-door transfer from our hotel in Zurich to our hotel in Basel was worth every penny in the hassle saved for not having to drag bags through the train stations and worry about catching taxi’s. The car was comfortable, clean and the ride smooth.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure meeting you and being part of your trip. I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed the journey, our conversations, and the comfort of the transfer. Your kind words mean a lot and are greatly appreciated. I hope to welcome you back to Switzerland in the future. Safe travels and all the best!

I didn’t think you would have luggage…
“I didn’t think you would have luggage” were the words spoken by our driver after loading the vehicle and seeing that the two rows of seats were literally touching each other. These were some of the only English words that were spoken to us the entire drive. For a drive of over an hour from one city to another booked through a tour company you would think they would be better prepared. If the vehicle could not accommodate the six passengers that I booked that should have been communicated ahead of time and we would have booked somewhere else.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. However, we respectfully disagree with your comments. The vehicle provided for this transfer was a Mercedes-Benz V-Class 250d Long, one of the largest premium vehicles in its category, specifically designed and fully suitable for transporting up to seven passengers. It was the appropriate vehicle for a booking of six passengers. On the day of the transfer, your group traveled with six large suitcases and several additional smaller bags. To accommodate all passengers and all of the luggage in a single vehicle, the rear seats had to be moved forward, which naturally reduced the available legroom. The driver even moved his own seat forward to provide as much space as possible for the passengers. The transfer was completed safely, smoothly, and without any other issues. We always strive to provide the best possible service. However, when traveling with a very large amount of luggage, some reduction in passenger space is unavoidable, even in one of the largest vehicles available in this category.

English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer cost?

+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer?

Is English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does English Speaking Zurich to Basel Private Car Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
