The guide is fantastic,...
The guide is fantastic, absolutely no complaints there. My main worry was the safety of the bikes themselves. My son’s chain popped off and he slammed into a parked Jeep. The guide immediately turned us around and went back to the shop. A chain doesn’t normally pop off while in motion, so the safety aspect was concerning. I will never get the image of my child slamming into a parked jeep out of my head.

We had a great time on...
We had a great time on the tour and Gris did an amazing job providing local commentary and history of the area. The e-bikes were in great condition and provided for an enjoyable ride. The snorkling stop did not disappoint. The shop had good equipment and the coral/fish spotting was good.

Ruined our day at Cozumel
Well, we went there on a cruise boat and signed up for the eBay tour and somehow she said that she canceled via email 24 hours prior because of weather or something but because it was supposed to go snorkeling as well, but other people on our cruise went snorkeling and of course we didn’t get it the email because we were on a cruise boat and didn’t have service so we spent the whole day finding the place getting there in time and then not being able to go. She had nobody there working the desk so nobody could help us.

Nothing to fear!
This was the first time my husband and I booked an Excursion on our own...we didn't see anything that interested us through our cruise's shore excursions. Beach Bum Cozumel was fantastic. We are in our 60s and never ridden an e-bike before. Gris, our tour guide, took a great care of us. She showed us what to do and always kept an eye on us as we rode the 10 miles. During our ride Gris stopped at Skyreef for our snorkel time. We were the only booked guess for the Excursion. So we got a private one on one tour. What a great time we had. Gris was great!

Zero communication on cancelled tour.
Absolutely would not recommend. Came in on time and was told the tour is cancelled. Can maybe come back in 3 hours, still not sure, no thank you, the ship is not going to wait for me. I understand the weather can affect the tour but there’s a way to contact your clients the night before and let them know hey we haven’t been able to do the tour the last 2-3 days and not sure if we could tomorrow so choose to proceed or cancel. Nope they wait till you off the ship, walk a mile and greet you with a no. Simple email would do cause I got stuck with trying to figure out what to do and wasted over an hour. Maybe the tour itself is great but communication is the key especially when you are on a limited time.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your opinion. Unfortunately, weather conditions are beyond our control, and as we explained on that date, the current was particularly strong. For the safety of our customers and team, we made the decision not to proceed. While we understand your frustration, we must always prioritize safety first. We sincerely apologize for this situation, but we had to wait for updates and clearance from the main harbor before making any decisions. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you again in better conditions.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 92 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel?
+
Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does E-Bike Adventure in Cozumel - West Side Ride N' Snorkel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
