Best way to spend an evening in Dublin

Wow! Music was so good and dancing was great! Food was good too. Room is a little crowded but doesn’t seem to be a problem. Waiters were efficient and friendly. Show was voted best evening attraction two years in a row.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We're delighted the music, dancing, and food all made for such a great evening, and glad the team's efficient and friendly service added to it too. Thanks so much for sharing, we're proud of that award and love hearing it shows! Best regards, Vox City International

Top-Notch Entertainment, Great Food, and Zero Hassle 5/5 – Absolutely spot on.

If you want a relaxing night out with top-tier entertainment and zero hassle, the Celtic Nights Dinner & Show at the Arlington Hotel delivers exactly what it promises. The atmosphere inside is fantastic—incredibly comfortable, warm, and welcoming right from the start. The attendants and waitstaff are awesome; they keep things moving efficiently without making you feel rushed. Service was quick, polite, and completely courteous the entire night. As for the show itself, it’s the real deal. It focuses heavily on authentic local customs, traditional Irish music, and incredible dancing. It manages to be highly entertaining and high-energy while still letting you sit back, have a pint, and completely relax. The food was another massive plus. Often at these kinds of dinner shows, the meal feels like an afterthought, but not here. The portions were well-proportioned—enough to leave you full—and everything was genuinely tasty and well-prepared. A solid, well-run operation that gives you your money's worth.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you so much for such a glowing review! We're thrilled to hear you had a wonderful evening, from the warm atmosphere and attentive service to the food and entertainment. It truly means a lot to us, and we'll be sure to share your kind words with the whole team. Best regards, Vox City International

    A scam - book directly

This experience was over 80 euros on Viator and when you get there it’s only about 50 euros. The food is subpar, slow service, and horrible view for most seats. 4/10

Response from the operator: Hello, We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We understand how frustrating it must have been to find such a difference between the price paid and what was offered on site, and we're sorry as well for the slow service and the seating that limited your view. This is not the kind of experience we want any of our guests to have, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this caused. Please know that your feedback is being taken seriously and has been shared directly with our team so that the issues you raised can be properly looked into. We're grateful you took the time to share these details with us, as it genuinely helps us improve. Best regards, Vox City International

An evening alone with the dancers would be best.......

The dancers were very good. The musicians seem to come at the last minute and had to fuss with the sound equipment more than once. It was as if they were called last minute and did not do a sound-check. The music in the end was too loud and it made the singing very difficult to understand. Except for the dancers, I cannot really recommend this evening. A couple of years ago I attended a similar evening in another location and that was much better in quality as far as the music and the food. The price was also better. Unfortunately, due to date, time, and availability limits I was forced to book this event.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the performance, but we’re sorry that other aspects of the evening did not meet your expectations. We understand your concerns regarding the music, sound levels, and food, and we appreciate you bringing these points to our attention. We take feedback like this seriously and will look into the experience with our team to better understand what happened. Best regards, Vox City International

Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.

How much does Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show cost?

    +

Prices start at $83 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.

Is Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dublin: Celtic Nights with Irish Dinner, Music & Dance Show start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dublin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dublin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dublin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
