    Nice church

We were in the area so we just walked in to see if we could check this church out. There is a fee per person for it which it was fine, staff were very helpful and friendly. We did the self-guided tour. It's a 1000 years old medieval cathedral so make sure you visit the Crypt. Would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Only need about 30-60min to see it.

A great experience at Christ Church Cathedral

I really enjoyed the tour of Christ Church Cathedral with Bryan. He was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the cathedral in an interesting and easy-to-understand way. His background in historical archaeology, including experience working on Roman archaeological sites in Italy, as well as his knowledge of art and architecture and experience as a registered Fáilte Ireland tour guide, added a lot to the tour. It was clear that he has a genuine interest in history, and his background helped put a lot of the details into context. Overall, a very enjoyable and informative tour, and I would definitely recommend Bryan as a guide.

    Outstanding Tour

Christ Church Cathedral is an absolutely beautiful and unforgettable place to visit. The stunning architecture, fascinating history, and peaceful atmosphere make it a real highlight of the city. A special mention must go to Andrea, who gave us the tour. Andrea was absolutely excellent — knowledgeable, engaging, friendly, and passionate about the cathedral and its history. The tour was informative without ever feeling overwhelming, and Andrea brought the stories and history of the cathedral to life in such an enjoyable way. You could really tell how much she cares about the history and heritage of Christ Church Cathedral, and her enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. Five stars without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Super gorgeous, and amazing Tour Guide

Great experience, there is so many intricacies that go into the foundation and architecture in the building! The crypt was full of really interesting and historical pieces. My Tour Guide Clad was super funsies, full of energy and shared a lot of information you wouldn’t normally see or get by just reading the signs that follow the pieces! I totally suggest attending their tours if you get the chance.

Response from the operator: Thanks A9713OVkaylag for the great review and shout-out to Clad - we really appreciate the feedback and are thrilled that you enjoyed your visit and tour.

Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.

How much does Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket cost?

    +

Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket take?

    +

Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.

Is Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 381 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket?

    +

Around 133 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dublin Christ Church Cathedral Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dublin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dublin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dublin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
